Name: Thomas Namoke Alias:: Jax Age: 20 Race: Human Gender: Male Occupation: Fire Bringer, aka Captain of the Black Army Nationality: Dorn Alignment: Chaotic Dark Deity: Arious: God of war, murder and bloodshed. Appearance: Jax has long fire red hair and golden eyes. His eye color makes him question if his father wasn't a half breed of some sort but he will never know which one for sure. He is slightly above average in height standing at 5'9". He has a slightly tan complexion and a well muscled body. Jax has several tattoos covering his body, they are red ancient symbols that only few know what they mean. He wears lightweight clothing usually in calming hues and has a necklace made from red stones carved into beads with three dragon talons. Personality: Jax is very short tempered and dislikes being mocked for his fragile race. He is an exceptionally fast learner that enjoys weapons perhaps more than is considered normal. He is intelligent but not very verbal, Jax falls more to the silent type but when provoked he is known for saying a mouth full. His temper has brought him trouble several times but he is slowly learning to suppress his anger. One thing Jax does have is his unquestionable devotion and loyalty to those he's come close to. It takes a great deal to shake him of his outlook towards the world and generally he will never admit to being wrong. History: Thomas was born to the Queen Ajeli Namoke of Dorn in the cold depths of Winter. His father was killed during the war in Coai' Orod trying to assist the mountain people in fleeing the country. He was raised with every privilege a Prince would receive but the boy was always bitter that he could never inherit the thrown, for Dorn was only ever ruled by woman. Also his mother never seemed to love him as much as she should, always commenting that she wished he had been a girl instead. He learned at a young age to control his ability with fire and the castle guard gave him lessons in combat and weaponry. He had a natural gift with a bow and was nearly as skilled with a blade, Thomas preferred these weapons to magical use until he learned he could use the two together, soon setting nearly the entire west wing on fire before being locked in his room for two weeks without anything but bread and water. He had no care for politics nor for his mother's persistence in furthering his training within the Towers. Thomas had other plans, like perfecting his martial arts skills and shooting two arrows at once while still hitting near the center of his targets. By 16, Thomas had had enough of palace life, pressure from his Mother and the Mages of the Towers, and politics. He wanted adventure, danger and a better understanding of weaponry as his training, though well taught, was limited considering who he was and where he was raised. One night he just packed up and headed for Teras, determined to join the army and learn to be a soldier. But he would never reach the land of warriors, instead Thomas was captured and brought to Coai' Orod to serve in Daemon's army or work as a slave. He was rather verbally objective with one of his captors and finally drove the man to toss him in the Death Pit where he would have to fend for his life or end up fertilizer. The lad did surprisingly well, not just well but excellent! He slaughtered every opponent thrown in with him and even as he took punches, cuts and bruises; he still fought on. Like a cornered tiger, Thomas didn't give up. He fought for his life, determined to keep it and such was his skill in the ring that he had managed to impress the Black Armies General. Khorne spared his life and recruited him into the army. Since fighting as a soldier was what he wanted initially, Thomas made little objection. To keep the Mother of the Shadows from enlisting him into her Black Tower, Khorne and Thomas hid the truth of his identity from everyone. He was soon reborn into his new life as Jax and speed through the ranks of the army with impressive skill. He had barely turned 20 when he was appointed to the rank of Fire Bringer, aka Captain of the Black Army. He has remained forever grateful t0 the Demon General for sparing his life and teaching him how to fight. In a way, Jax has grown attached to his commanding officer and would die defending him if the situation ever arose.
