Supplier Posts: 458 Group: Game Helpers Member #7 Joined: Nov 26, 2008	Well, i jus heard of this today but as of 8/31 Disney gave in 4 Billlion and bought out Marvel which includes 5000 mavel characters, crazy if you ask me never expected that to happen... what you all think, good or bad thing? Disney will still honor the movies already being made like Spider Man 4, Iron Man 2, Xmen Origins: Wolverine 2 and then Xmen Origins: Magneto Think this will help Marvel or pull it down?

That would be sleeping coooooooooooool. As for how the movies are going, I think that Spiderman 3 should stay as a trilogy (the 3rd one kinda sucked anyway) and the X-Men movies should just be over and done with - no more! Though knowing Disney, they will milk these franchises for every dime so expect to see every single one of these movies to come out, regardless of whether they will be legitimately good or bad movies.

This is at least on the Comics front, though if they make a Hannah Montana comic, sure it will make them more money, but just make them more soulless. Now movies I am not as optimistic, seeing as disney likes to stick there young stars in movies, seriously who wants to see Zac Efron as Captain America, or Miley Cyrus as Rogue.

As on the subject, it wholy depends on what disney's exact plans are naturally. I would see a huge benefit for marvel. They will be able to tap into the vast resources disney can offer. I think the disney company is smart enough to let a succesfull company like marvel as is.
