Due to massive refreshing you have been logged out. When you loggin again, please try to keep refreshing to a reasonable level I got that while I was banking also which doesn't make much sense... |

ok, so we have a few people cougth by the code made to prevent f5ing above normal. When you get a message like this, please send me (yosh) a mail with info regarding your activitys. We see the catch 22 in this cos if you tell us you did press f5 on any page you will feel like you did a bad thing, but we promise wont hold any of this against you in beta. And either way we have already been alerted when you got logged out. So by not sending me a mail i will assume you did something and feel ashamed over it  Atm we are testing diffrent numbers so we need to get them right before we launch a round. We dont want to prevent normal gameplay just silly behavior that could hurt the host/gameso please, even if you did infact f5:ed a certain page alot please let me know what caused the message Edited by yosh, Sep 2 2009, 12:28 PM.

I just moved around LA very quickly and got that message again:( No f5 or stuff just quick moveing around LA:P And once more a random logout. I was writing clan descriton and then this stuff :S Due to massive refreshing you have been logged out. The thing is..I had been f5ing whiel battleing and I was al lset..then I went to the blacksmith to see the prices of equipment and then I clicked clan bank after I added up the totals and it logged me out |

Ok, work is in progress guys. We need to get this code working before we can start a round. Even thou i had 33 mails when i logged in now after a few hours i encourage you to continue updating me on what caused you to get logged out |

Ive not had it yet, but ive noticed that every so often a page will take alot longer to load than usual.. i doubt its my interent connection/pc being slow(brand new laptop) so i just thought id see if its odd or not?

I got logged out today as well... I was refreshing the battle arena search I had run. Is this a no-no? Its happened a couple times to me so far I think. I take it that we are now not supposed to hit F5 when a search comes up empty and we don't want to go back through several pages to run the exact same search? It's important to emphasize this. If you find a way to cheat, exploit, or otherwise screw with the game in beta, it's a good thing, that's what beta is for (as long as you tell yosh). What's the current limit on refreshing now anyway? I worry that it could make fighting for popular targets very difficult and annoying if it's set too low. |

What about on the final day of the round? Does anyone refresh 600000 times a minutes trying to get 1-2 targets? We are gonig to have mass chaos on the final day of the round with this.... |

what i want to do is a code that allowes you to refresh advance search with f5, but in a normal way (not twice every second for two minutes in a row). The biggest thing im trying to prevent is people overloading the server by holding in f5 on any page. When such code is done and working properly, we will most likely add an autojailfunction for people getting caught to often. just a few hours (we admins has yet not decided for how long and when) to make sure we dont have a saboteur on our neck. i changed the code last morning and since then it looks ok, like zoid said, no worries if you get logged out. just keep on playing like you would in normal round, will help me faster to understand what limits to use |

It didn't happen to me since I last posted, but I have been refreshing less often and actually re-entering search criteria to slow things down from time to time. |
