All of us could upload songs and it could just play random 24 hours a day, and of course you would have to tune into it. It wouldn't immediately start playing once you logged on, you would have to option to listen or not. Lets do it, I know all you SOB's would love it!!! =) So lets make a poll shall we?

So much to be done to the game and you suggest this (face it) terrible idea. If you'd say maybe a PodCast with content along what Mhuahaha did with the LA News it would be good but what use is this? Absolutely none. What makes you think that the music you like will appeal to others? I don't want to waste bandwidth/space listening to your Hip-Hop or teen angst bullslap my bottom and call me sally music. And even if you've got a way to host/play music outside the game server I fail to see how this would fit with the mood of the game. Seriously, terrible idea. It wouldn't be very much bandwidth. for god sakes its a TEXT BASED GAME. I would like to hear some of the different cultural music because i know there is a lot of people from different parts of the world.

But listeners wouldn't be able to upload their songs, it would have to be a request based system (listeners request songs they want to hear and the one controlling the station downloads and plays them), it also needs a computer to be on 24/7 to broadcast it. Also vanders, while you're at it why not create a LEGEND ARENA TV! Yay! HOW COOL IS THAT? PLAYERS UPLOAD THEIR VIDEOS AND AWESUM! Not to mention a sheer lack of need. How long d'you spend on LA at a time? Ten minutes at most, if you've got a good chunk of stamina to use? You'd get maybe a track at most. If such an idea was EVER implemented, the default would HAVE to be off.

Cellist Posts: 116 Group: Game Admins Member #65 Joined: Dec 5, 2008	It would have to be a separate thing and not on the LA server as you must know why..We dont have the bandwidth to stream music to all the players let alone have the space to upload 30 megs a person..So if this was the case it could be a link that was added so your browser could open a shoutcast Or whatever..That would for sure give you the option of listening or not..I fear it would go the way of the chat or the DODO bird though as I agree I have no desire to learn what music you like...If you want people to know what songs you like post your favorite top 10 songs and if someone really wants to hear them he can open his own player and see if he has them..If he dont he most likely dont want them does he?

It's kind of pointless to put a radio in game when you can play your iPods and your MP3s and there's alls these websites you can play music like aol radio and even youtube. Waste of space
