The bombings were not worse....It was necessary in order to save probably a million american soldeirs lvies that would have been killed trying to invade Japan....Japan DID attack first and you may say the bombs were not necessary but those soldiers lives would have been at risk and it's the goverments job to protect it's citizens

The Japanese reply could be translated as either "Please don't" (sort of WE'LL DO ANYTHING, DON'T DO IT! style) or "You wouldn't dare". Rather than clarify, the powers that be chose to assume it was the "You wouldn't dare" response, and dropped the bombs. But ww2 is not the worst thing to happen. As I said before though, Official Secrets Act.

That, and there was no warning. No way to fight back, or escape. Jews fought back when they were being taken to the camps, and some escaped. Hiroshima didn't have a clue, and couldn't do jack shit even if they did.

They did not deserve what happened to them though i do agree with that. This kinda shows that you should pay attention to who you vote for as your countries leader And on another note, The Hiroshima bomb, majority of the citizins of Japan weren't aware or even had a chance to escape. While many of the Jews had the chance, but instead were more afraid to go somewhere they had never been.(remember i'm a strong christian so i have nothing against Jewish people at all)

And the Jewish people had many plaecs to go; North towards Russia or parts of Britain, South towards Italy Spain Romania, East towards Asia, but not west :P. He also gained a lot of support because of how terribly the Germans were treated after it. It basically came down to "THIS WAS BAD, YOU LOST, YOU TAKE THE BLAME". The talks consisted mostly of the Allies going YOU LOST THE WAR AND THIS HAS HAPPENED TO US, YOU TAKE THE BLAME EVEN THOUGH IT WASN'T YOUR FAULT! and the Germans not getting a word in edgeways. I'm tempted to prod my friend Michael and get him to come over here. He's studied the rise of the Nazi party in considerable detail, seeing as it was the focus topic his class covered in A-Level history (A Level is one step before university).
