Hmm i asume the bus driver and the jug is correct cause i got the same answer.. And i dont have a good calculator so i just hoped terra was right.. Hmm, a tricky one then  Edit: lol St ives? Hehehe, correct lovedoll. There are two possible answers. The only person travelling to St. Yves is just the one guy. The narrator. However the amount of kits, cats, sacks and wives is zero. So it just depends on how you look at it really. |

Hehe np.. But i think the riddle got easier without the first sentemce. Cause I felt it was a bit odd that St ives appeared in the last sentence. Was it named 2 times I might not think about it that much BTW: Is it St Ives or ST Yves? You have stated both of them Mhua

It's a childrens riddle, I can't help it. Well, here is another one: You have a solid wooden barrel, what can you put in the barrel to make it lighter? I know this one is ill defined as well, but to define it better would result in the answer being more easilly guessed. And no, I do not accept gasses lighter than air as a correct answer. |

Just a question. With solid you mean that you cant open it or that its wood all the way to the center or anything else? And a guess aswell: Fire? put in some fire and burn it.. then it will be lighter

With solid I mean that the barrel is sturdy. Wrong, the answer isn't fire. If you put fire in the barrel it is just a barrel with fire in it. The burning and losing weight happens over time and is an indirect result of you plaving fire in the barrel. I'd like a direct result. Hehe you are right.. But i think it was a good guess And i dont find a good use for sturdy either.. Bth sturdy and solid have different meaning. 1 meaning is that it s hard or heavy.. The second one is that it is wood all the way with no air or anything. I assume its the last one? |
