Look, you ignored my last idea, maybe because I didn't provide any information. Well, I spent most of my night last night and about an hour now finishing this HALF of the information. Other information will be provided if interest shows the need.

An RP based on COMPLETELY ORIGINAL CONTENT!

Under the Californian sun. A fictitious RP written by a fictitious person.

Synopsis : Partake in life on Eden prime just in time for the advent of Ether Induction! Engage in combat with sword, spear, guns, planes and elements! Work as one, or individually win wars for the Empire, or overthrow it!

History of the Empire : The Edanien Empire has been around nearly time immemorial. There is no history galatically that does not refer to the Edanien empire. They had the technology before anyone else. Their planet, a veritable wonderland lush with rolling hills, thick, green hills and natural anomalies, such as the Zone, and the Twilight border. A culturally centric religion, and a bustling economy, Eden Prime has been the cultural and political capital for the universe for several hundred years to this point. Ether induction having given them the ability to widen their range and the efficiency of ships thousands of times more than the invention of Vernier Induction.

Political Stability : Perfect. The Empire houses thirty officials, who answer to the Emperor (Illuom Tassudar) that run the individual sectors of the Empire. The guilds play by a different drum, but everyone answers to the Master, who answers to the Emperor.

Topography : Lush rolling hills, dense forests dot a relatively green planet, with only two notable places. The planet is several times larger than Earth, spanning a vast 39,700 kilometers across. Most of the planet is soil, there's only one ocean, called California, and it spans a meager 6,100 square kilometers. The entire planetary population isn't even three billion. Much of the land left undeveloped grows green and free. Just how the Master likes it. Most of the travel is done via air. No ground vehicles are permitted to leave county areas. Most people have planes, or they wait for a delivery ship to come pick up their products, or they just hitch a ride.

The Zone--
The zone is a twisted land created by the Ages when they imbued the first Holcross with his power. The land wracked with atrocious storms and horrid unnatural anomalies, is sparsely populated. Only the brave of the brave call The Zone their home. Those whom are often either criminals or outcasts, and the Confessor trainees are the only ones who dare venture into this distraught land. The Zone is 159.3 square kilometers of badlands, bandits, beasts and Confessor trainees.

The Twilight border--
Beyond this wall of black exists an anomaly that prevents sunlight from ever reaching the land. This land of perpetual night the Holcross call home. The anomaly created by the first Holcross elementalist in a fit of depression houses the headquarters for their master guild, Klan International. The Twilight border encases 53.9 square kilometers, and has some of the strangest flora and fauna around, having adapted to the dark area.

Technology : The Edaniens, with the help of the Traitor William Bonnalain were able to advance the technology so rapidly, that even some of the most advanced equipment and devices are left ignored en masse by the population. The simple life worked for them, and they enjoy doing things the hard way. Firearms are not regulated or controlled, but they are hard to find, but easy to buy. Klan is the only manufacturer and importer of firearms.

Religion : The only practiced religion can't really be called a religion. There is no scripture, there is no doctrine, there is only the world, or the universe for some. The World Is...And there's nothing you can do about it.

Large cities–
V'larden–(1.7 Million, 20% Holcross, 50% Edanien, 5% Feral, 25% other races)
County seat to the Empire. The capital of the planet. The palace presides in the center of the town, with the city built as a wheel around it. The city has mass transit in the form of the MO rail, taxi service and just about any amenity you could need. The city is divided into five rings from innermost to outermost. Government and Guilds, Commercial, Technological, Residential, and the Starport.

Navarre–(142,000, 70% Holcross, 30% other races)
Navarre is the county seat to the Holcross, serving as headquarters to Klan. This dark city is illuminated with very soft lights, often purple and green. The city is laid out in blocks, with several gates going underground to the industrial section, the surface dotted with artistically inspired houses, many round and free-flowing. Several towers spot the lands, each ornamented with a golden gear, and the green K, the logo of the guild. Street signs, advertisement boards and notices are as screens, displaying all sorts of information relevant to travel in the area. There is no starport in Navarre, due to the presence of the Master, he abhors noise. All ships inbound to Navarre dock outside the city and take an MO tram in, or go on foot. Deliveries are made through K-ISO, so there is no commercial traffic in Navarre. There is no powered flying around Navarre. The Holcross value peace and quiet.

Kindergarten–(410, 80% Holcross, 10% Edanien, 10% other races)
The only real town in the Zone. Mostly employees of Klan stationed to serve the training Confessors and provide relief and supplies to those brave or stupid enough to venture into the Zone. Often called KD by the locals, you can get anything there. Food, ammunition, weapons, drugs, sex. Whatever you're interested in buying or selling, it's negotiable here. KD is also the only real safe place from The Zone's most feared random occurrence. Blowouts. The city itself is just ruins, but in each mostly-intact structure, there is a sub-gate that leads underground.

Laws :
Act honorably. This is the only law that is enforced. If you are hungry, ask for help. Do not steal. If you are angry at someone's action, talk to them. Do not kill them. If you are sexually attracted to someone, see if they are interested, do not violate them. The Empire knows it cannot control the Holcross, so they use the word Honor to trick them into following the law.

Defend yourself. If you're attacked, you are permissible to do anything you must to stop the attack. Even by killing the attacker. The Ordinators/Confessors will question you, but if it all checks out, then you're free to go.

Races--
Holcross : These creatures are a marriage of technology and flesh. They were created when the Traitor's son died, and he tested a nanite swarm that was designed to reconstruct the destroyed material. However, he had misprogrammed them, giving them the prototype design instead of the one he was testing. The nanites began replacing organs with devices that the traitor had only been speculating on. The Calorie furnace, the head computer, all of the work that he and Dr.Irving Geschelshaft had been designing. Most of it worked, some of it had to be modified. The First Holcross was OmegaForte. So named after the Traitor's cover name after he was discovered. Holcross designs changed over the centuries, but Omega was the first upgradable unit, and has served faultless for eight hundred years. A testament to Holcross longevity. Holcross reproduction happens one of two ways. Naturally between a man and a woman of any race, as long as one of the two is Holcross, or through conversion.

Edaniens : Kinda like humans, but blessed with the energy of the Empire. Elements. Holcross can emulate these elements, but not as proficiently. Edaniens have a life span of around 130 years, aging slightly slower than humans. Unremarkable on their own, but when given a focus item compatible with their birth element, they can become formidable foes. The backbone of the Empire's war machine, these elemental soldiers often called Ordinators, serve the Emperor in all ways. Enforcing the law, fighting the pirates and securing the border of the Zone for Klan on request.

Ferals : Currently Slaves of the Empire. Which is better than just being slaves. They are paid respect of being part of the Empire, and not being exploited. Ferals, the human mutations captured from the conquest of Terra. Ferals are agile, fast and not free. The empire is getting ready to release them from service, but there are those that do not want this to happen, like the Holcross, who fought the humans and demand their share of the spoils.

Humans : The only humans on Eden Prime are in the Zone. There, they are out of the hands of the Guild, and out of sight of the Empire. Often times, Confessors in training are required to kill atleast one human and verify the kill. Some Confessors like Fyonte have captured several humans and turned them over for conversion. Humans survive the conversion process more often than the Edaniens that are often used.

Double post, here's some more info.

Guilds—Legally sanctioned.

Klan : The extraterrestrial megacorp, Klan International and Interplanetary research and development organization, or Klan. Klan has pioneered technology on Eden Prime, and throughout their side of the galaxy. Technology created here seems better than anywhere else. Lower cost of production, better quality of products, and even testing of prototypes. Klan also happens to run a paramilitary organization that leads in privatizing conflicts and supplementing armies when they are inadequate with troops far superior than those that they have. The ranks are as follows.

Master: The boss. His word is second only to the Emperor. However off-planet, the chain of command stops with him.
Adjudicator: Servants of the master, they run the individual arms of the organization, and provide him with information.
Grand Confessor: Like a unit captain, he runs entire groups of Confessors.
Confessor: The Confessors are the special enforcement and tactical response team for the guild. The Confessors number in the thousands, and each have unyielding conviction and loyalty to the Master.
Administrator: Administrators run individual units or sections of the guild's control area, managing resources and manpower. Like the Foreman on a construction site.
Conscripts: The grunts. Conscripts do everything from deliver papers to participate in civil disputes in areas. Errand boys to improvised soldiers. Scientists to research aides.

Green Heaven : Green heaven used to be a pirate organization that attacked the Empire's mining planets and shipments. Slowly they found out they were better at intergalactic warfare. They could beat most of the Empire's attempts to repel them with half of the manpower. Will Teisel developed their combat strategy, and even when pitted against the venerable Klan Draux and the later Devastator MkII superiority fighter, his plans came out on top. After the first Pirate war, Will Teisel was approached by the then Grand Confessor, now Master OmegaForte, and a deal was struck to make them honorable members of Klan. He refused, and established Green Heaven, and from a makeshift space station, they began their campaign with Klan against the pirates.

High Parliamentary Officer: The head honcho of Green Heaven.
Captain Superior: The Major, calls the shots in the stations, deploys troops and that. The Commander of each individual station or side.
Role Commander: The unit leader. Each squadron has one, every gunner team has one. He points the boys in the right direction.
Fighter Pilot/Gunner: The individual that performs. The soldier. He flies the ship, or mans it's guns. Not just anyone can handle 3/8ths the speed of light, or hit targets at that speed. There are under one thousand pilots, and just over eleven hundred gunners, out of the six hundred million applicants a year, only a handful are chosen.

(Taking ideas, and believe me, you can be quite liberal here. Submit your ideas, whatever in the thread. I give a fuck.)

Guilds—Pirate/illegitimate.

Fortune's Ladder : Fortune's ladder was formed after the name of the valley where the Traitor escaped. These vagabond ferals, humans and edaniens believe that if they get caught in a tight place, maybe the Ages will smile on them as they did for the Traitor. Fortune's ladder has no real heiarchy, but there is one immutable leader. Geri Haliburton. He runs these ragtag pirates in and about the trade lanes just outside of K-ISO range. They have the smallest territory, but the largest income, and the largest compliment of Klan weapons. They even have a Geschelshaft that they have weaponized with a few Binary Ion Colliders. They are not to be underestimated, and often take the highest priority in the search for pirates. They cause the most damage, and the largest losses. They know their game and they know it well.

HFIL : No one's real sure what HFIL means, but there's a running gag amongst the pirates that's found it's way to the desk of the Grand confessor. “Home For Infinite Losers”. These guys are reckless, brash and lack any type of honor. They ransack colonies, sides, whatever is left unguarded. They're not unsuccessful, but they are little more than annoying. They do enjoy stealing, but they prefer kidnapping. They figure officers are worth more than some machine. Klan has established the idenity of the last leader and has dealt with him in a raid, and since, they appear to work democratically to prevent future assassinations and raids.

(You can take some liberty here too. Make up what you want. I care not.)

Most races are eligible for citizenship of the Empire with the exclusion of the following.
(You can have some fun here, but these are my no-go's.)

Humans : The traitor was a human, thus humans are not fit to be citizens.
Ferals(Furries) : Conquered races must serve the empire for a set time before becoming eligible.
Necron : Inveterate foes of the Holcross, half-dead soulless machines. Abominations before the Ages and the Master.
Etherial beings : Citizens of the Empire must be 95% Cohesive.

--Element table--
There are six elements and two naturals. Everyone is capable of having a natural, but only some can have elements. You are limited only by your imagination and focus item. Your element Fire? What can fire do? Can you do it too? You bet. But Marty, I have no imagination. What do? I can help you here. Just describe what you think, and I can help you expand your thought on it. Ask Immortal. I always see what the possibilities can be. Here's a jist of the thinking you might find useful.

“Okay. I can set anything in the world on fire, if it is made out of carbon, and I can create fire in mid-air for short times. What can that be used for? Well for fire to burn you need the fire triangle. Fuel, oxygen, and ignition. Since I can create fire, that means I can create those things. Well, I could make a small cache of this fuel, and then keep it going for awhile, and create a fuel air bomb and decimate an area.” You can do that.

“Ice. I can freeze matter. Air, whatever. Extreme cold generated in a space instantly. Freezing someone's blood might be very useful. But wait, I'm a Setra Holcross. That means I can freeze my intercooler to run it longer.” Good thinking.

“Lightning. Instant random death. However lightning requires two things. A large negative charge, and a large positive charge to equalize. The ground acts as a big ground so it will attract my shots if there's no positive charge to equalize with...But what about dumping a huge bolt into the ground between some guys and killing them?” Nice call.

“Water eh? Excellent way to stay hydrated. Too bad about this draught though. Oh wait, air has moisture. Why don't I deplete the moisture from the air a bit, and collect it in my canteen?” Good on ya.

“Earth. The manipulation of soil. Fuck, I'm stuck in this cave. I think I'll leave. Let's make a door out here and leave. Oh shit, my enemy's right behind me! Poor tunnel! Collapse. Kaboom” Easy going.

“Wind. Awesome flying power. Oh shit, here comes a Devastator! FUCK YOU PLANE! Lemme steal the air pressure from under your wings! No more flight for you, dickhead!” Limited only by your imagination.

Darkness and Light are special cases. They are used to augment power. Darkness is the power to destroy. Light is the power to protect. Both manifest themselves similar to the ways that guy depicts them in Dragonball. Beams, bolts and shit of that sort. Unoriginal? Bite me, I've been drinking, but this is what I planned it as.

Darkness versus Light. Neither is stronger, but when it comes to the other elements, Darkness can do more damage, and cause more chaos as it can taint a focus and give mild emulation of the element's powers. Light, has the greatest power of all for living things, as it can cure any wound that isn't fatal.
