This is now the OOC thread for "Dot Hack//Destruction".

"Basic plot"

Every character wouldn't be in the same guild, as previously planned. More freedom of choice has been implemented, and the main conflict has changed. Rather than a rampaging virus that is screwing things up, Aura, who has been missing for some time (that is, this takes place a year or two after G.U+) is rumored to be hidden on a certain stage. Upon investigation, the apparent "Aura" is scrap data left over from Aura and several other people/places. It has named itself "Apeiron", crowning itself as ruler of The World. So some stuff happens that I won't go into detail over, but in the end a lot of people are scared/pissed. Apeiron has taken to doing whatever it likes, and begins stealing data from different parts of The World to recreate itself. Ten "gatherers" are formed by Apeiron and move about The World taking data n' fucking shit up. Naturally the RPers don't appreciate this, and due to a previous occurrence, set out to destroy these gatherers. Each gatherer has a part of Apeiron's core data in them. Apeiron currently can't be found, but his/hers/its death is suppose to fix the"previous incident".

"Original Post"

It just crossed my mind; Myrrah has asked me several times to make a Dot Hack Roleplay, and I've always been too busy to. I attempted it once on another site, though everyone who had said they were going to join it, didn't. Now, I'd like to bring it to you guys; if you'd want, that is. If you don't know what .hack is, its a show about an MMO, basically. I'd suggest watching the first episode of .hack//sign, as it will clue you in to most of it.

Would anyone be interested in this?
I do have a fanfiction story of this written up, and I'll share some plot events if you all are interested.

I'd call .hack more of a phenomenon if ya ask me. It's a show, it's a game, it's reading material, and awesome.

I'd most definitely be interested, Rin.

I, myself, have written a .hack story, and am part-way through another (though I'm not sure when I'm going to get back to it yet). I'm also a member of another community called ".hack//Divergence".

Now...what do you have planned for this? I'm curious. What it is may determine the character I use, or I might default to my main man, Canti.

I want to rewrite the story, as I have attempted to use the current one several times, and to me its getting dull. Especially since I've had to RP at least four, if not more, full time characters.

What the current story is, takes place in "The World R:2". Rather then random Comas, attacks from a form of virus has been causing deaths, though are less numerous then the commas were. A guild of treasure hunters is where the players would start out joining, which eventually suffered from the virus, and a determined guild leader decides to fight back against the virus, turning his guild from a fun item scavenging team, into a dark and moody group of fighters. Eventually, they came across an Aurora type of virus, which in this case was a glitch in the game, but like Aura, protected The World. Eventually, some shit happens, the virus is for the most part destroyed, two people died in a fight, some hearts were broken, and the story would end(it never got that far).

Like I said, I'm a bit board of using the same beginning over and over again, and today I'll be planning on sticking together a completely new story. I'll put it up when I can.

I'll put up the story soon...ish... probably.

Bob, Sign is the slowest and most boring of all the series, but it gives you a general idea about the lore of the series.

Edit: I wasn't able to get it up today. I've been trying to catch up with RP's and school work I have missed all day, and have had hardly any time for anything.

Alright. Well, assuming this does get more interest, as I refuse to do this with just two people, this is how the story basically is. Long wait for nothing :3

Everyone will have been playing the game(which you just lost) for at least a while. A rumor of a new stage appearing will arise, and naturally you'll try to get to it. Bah-dahm, you and the other players become locked into the game, with the ability to still die and revive still. You do, however, feel pain. To try and get out of this state, everyone has to work together to search for clues about the Key of the Twilight, which will release you.

I'm not going to put up the whole story, so don't cry. :|

Yes, .hack//SIGN gets to be rather tedious. Nevertheless, I saw all of it because it was necessary for me to understand what's actually going the hell on in this whole thing. I needed all the angles so that I could have written MY story when I did.

Now then... Rin, tell our lovely people how to enter! We need some idea of profiling, just a tad. It'll give people direction. You recommend any particular classes? What sorta' leeway in design can we expect here?

The classes are all pretty decently well done for everything. I would recommend not using a Steam Gunner, due to their constant need for range, and we all know dungeons get tight. I would recommend a Blade Brandier, as they are the average class. If you want to be a bit more of an expert, maybe a Adept Rouge. They can, after all, be anything. Check .hack wiki, here, for complete descriptions of every class.

For profiling, it'll be the basics, but with "Character Level", "Usually Equipped Items" including your weapons (there's an easy to read list of it all on the Wiki), and some of your actual character's personal info. As in, the person playing The World, not just the character in it. I'll toss up the who pistol whip of it all if this proves to have more interest then two people.

To facilitate our getting into this, I'm not only writing a profile, but inputting NPCs into the mix for fun and Proph3t. (Don't ask about the funny word-spelling there. It's an in-joke between me and a hacker I met around the same time as Myrrah.) My NPCs show up whenever I feel like it while my RPing focuses mostly on Wyvern. Since Rin's being well open-ended with this, you don't have to follow my example to a T. I just feel like doing it this way.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

MY MAIN CHARACTER>>>>>

Name: Wyvern

Real Name: Johnny Aces

Class: Tribal Grappler

Weapon: Dragon Claws

Signature Move: Mach Fist

Appearance: The character is a human-type who prefers greenish black armor over his body like a dragoon. He is not bulked out, but looking streamlined and made for leaping. That said, Wyvern does not wear a helmet, nor does he wield a lance. Given that he chose to fight with his fists, you would say this makes his exterior a bit odd. His gauntlets are dark gray and metal, made to look draconic. His armor sometimes sizzles when under pressure, or perhaps when he's just angry. Wyvern's face is normal, that of a Caucasian young man with blue eyes and spiked black hair that also appears streamlined. The curious contradiction between dragoon-like attire and draconic style of fighting make people believe he should sport a tail, but he doesn't.

Personality: Wyvern is generally a confused sort of fellow. He doesn't really know what he wants out of The World, except maybe to kill some time, but it's more as though like he's had some apprehension about this place and that he's facing some kind of primal fear. No reason that he can think of, mind you, and he's an avid player as well. It's just that...he feels as though he needs to find something here, something he lost, so he's curious and determined...while altogether bothered that what he may find will destroy who he is. Wyvern is a fighter who believes in fair-play AND hijinx. Beware of anyone with this mix. He's not incapable of fun. He merely sets work and play apart, so don't try to joke around when there's something serious going on. There is a temperment about him not fully explained or understood.

Backstory: Here, there be monsters...

Johnny Aces lives alone. No, that is a lie. He feels alone, but he takes care of his little sister, Rachel. He pushed away his parents and strove to make his life work on his own after a falling out, and took in the responsibility of his sister when their parents were at their wits end about the both of them. He feels alone because she barely speaks, like everything is locked in and doesn't want to come out. Johnny doesn't blame her, considering the accident and the hole it left in their lives, but the hole is larger for him. It's large enough to consume half of his life and tear apart his family.

Going among his old things, he found the systems they used to access The World. He set one up, downloaded the upgrades, and procured the latest version of the game. There was something unsettling about it, like he was almost afraid, or that the game was a threat to him somehow. He hadn't played since...errr... Well, it was a long time ago. He'd forgotten when exactly, or that he had been in a uniquely dangerous coma at the time. There was this feeling inside, though, which pressed him to get into the game, to return to The World. He felt an anger, like he'd been wronged and it hadn't been made right, or something.

He just wanted to...to point his finger at someone responsible and shout at them, and then wring their frigging neck. No idea where that came from. The thought came so naturally...as though he'd always had it. This was why he needed to play, to find out more about The World he missed so much. It was strange, though. Someone was playing games with him, not too far into things. He was sent a weapon, just out of the blue, with no clear indication from whom it actually came. A pair of clawed gauntlets...which seemed almost tailor-made for him. But why...? And who?

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Name: Canti

Real Name: Damon Fortis

Class: Twin Blade

Weapon: Flaming Tongues

Signature Move: Infernal Deathstrike

Appearance: Canti the Twin Blade, a figure born from a notion caught in anime. Damon had seen FLCL and noted the Firestarter game in regards to the TV-Boy referred to as Canti. From there, he began to wonder what a REAL God of Black Flames would look like. The answer he came up with was a human-type with tanned skin, black hair, black pits for eyes, a fiery T-shirt with the words "Endsville is burning" written on, black jacket, clawed leather gloves, crimson leather pants, brown crocodile boots, and a pair of big functional raven-like wings. There is also a stranger glowing scar on his right arm. These days, however, Canti has red eyes, not black. They make him look more human, since they're red with dark pupils. His blades would appear to be four-eyed demon heads with horns attached to a handle and their red-hot tongues are the blades.

Personality: He's a Twin Blade who likes to kick ass. Well-versed in fighting, Canti is cool by nature and not for trying. Truthfully, he's generally impulsive, clever, short-tempered, and has a hang-up about being the leader of ANYTHING. It's just something he hates. He use to be a loner, but he got over it. He's still a bit of a nut, though. Prefers to dive into combat situations that he doesn't even know he'll come out of alive. Unfortunately for the bads, he's rather good at thinking on his feet and dealing with horrible situations...or at least making it LOOK LIKE he's not having any trouble. He may, in fact, have no idea what he is doing, but he won't let the enemy believe that. Not an optimist, but keeps up the good fight. Likes to swear, even if people hate him doing it.

Backstory: He who wields the Flames of Desolation...

Damon was a lone mechanic once, no living family to his name. This has changed. He is a Bostonite who had his parents taken from him, one at a time, and withdrew into himself to merely survive instead of live his life fully. He was simply a mechanic on medication. The World, strangely enough, changed all that. He played in the previous version of the game, using Canti as his way to act out whatever his day-to-day life couldn't cover. What this made him into was a fairly dark Twin Blade with a certain zest for pyromania.

Still, things changed him to the core as a situation grew around him, one very threatening to The World. When it was over, Damon was a changed man. He is now in The World again for reasons more than play, but he will not say what it is. There is no ready explanation for his weapons, his style, his abilities... They're wrong, somehow, and something about HIM is wrong...and yet it goes unnoticed. It'd been quite a long time since he'd played this game, so nothing could be out of place, right?

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Name: Kalina

Real Name: Kalina Pendraken

Class: Blade Brandier

Weapon: Crystalis

Signature Move: Pure Freeze

Appearance: She is a a beast-type, for certain. A nekomata, in particular. Kalina is seen in icy-blue metal armor which protects the torso, along with rather sleek similar boots and arm guards on her arms and legs. Under that, she is apparently wearing blue jeans and a white T-shirt. She is a Caucasion with claw-like fingernails and a pair of tails which had originally split from one in the classic nekomata fashion. She is brown-eyed with long brown hair tied off at the end and has a pair of cat-like ears as well. Kalina wields a rather ornate sword made entirely of ice with a double edge and a cold aura coming off of it with every swing.

Personality: She is accented British, which goes a fair way to explain some of her nature. Kalina is a traditionalist, a tea-drinker, and well-known for keeping a stiff upper lip about her troubles...despite all set-backs and issues pertaining to them. Because of this, some of her temperment is seen as stable and like ice. She will make hard decisions and live by them. Those who break through her exterior and actually get to know her will find that she can be warm and understanding too. But she is not known to be entirely compromising on things that she takes to heart. For instance, if a friend was ailing, she would not budge from the idea of helping him.

Backstory: When you master the cold...

Kalina is very well-off in the UK. Her character shares her first name and some of her appearance, though obviously none of the nekomata aspects. She does this because she wanted to be like herself...only a different version of herself who has fewer limitations. She played in the previous version of The World and blames herself for what happened later when two of her friends were put into a coma. Originally, she blamed Canti, whom she attacked one day because she thought he was responsible. Everyone called him an ace hacker, but he revealed to her that he had absolutely no coding abilities at all.

She herself is, however, somewhat skilled in edits because she was a cat-person like she is now even back THEN. She faced the threat that had attacked them both along with Canti and everyone he knew, and became fast friends with him, despite their clearly opposite natures. She was rather taken by his stupid heroics. Now, she is back in The World and her reasonings there are as enigmatic as Canti's...but only because she asked him to be there. Some unfinished business from last time had come up, and she wanted to make sure that it all went smoothly.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Name: Reyome

Real Name: Unknown

Class: Unknown

Weapon: Glaive of the Proph3t

Signature Move: Golden Rays

Appearance: Reyome is an Enigma in The World. You can't exactly tell what class she is until she draws a weapon. (We're talking body-armor, boots, gloves, and so on here. It's all patterned in.) Even then, the metallic and almost machine-like glaive doesn't seem right to a Lord Partisan, despite it being a pole-arm. Rey wears a streamlined and sleek maroon-and-gray armor. She has long brown hair and golden eyes. One of the odd things about her is that she has fox ears and a fox tail, both brown with black tips. She does not seem like a beast-type, per se, despite being a kitsune by description. Also, she has been seen hovering.

Personality: An intelligence and clever person, she is. Very inquisitive and meticulous on many things. Reyome is known for speaking in riddles and keeping people guessing. There is very much that nobody knows about her, and very little you can guess. One thing is almost for certain, though. You can tell that she is nearly always up to something, if seen. She's not evil, or even amoral. She likes to be amused, and may only lend a hand at the last minute because it was so fun to watch for a few minutes. She remains rather serious-minded about serious things, however, and rather tight-lipped about anything personal.

Backstory: An Enigma left untold...

She keeps to herself, because anything outside what she does in The World is nobody's business. Well, she speaks about it to some people, but not many. Reyome was almost central to the things which befell Canti, Kalina, and everyone else they knew in The World. It wasn't her fault, per se. Merely, she was associated with it and working to stop the calamity which unfolded faster and faster, the virus that followed the Twilight in the previous version of The World. That is all over now, all under control. She remains a friend of Canti's, remaining connected via his computer. He and Kalina needed her help on something in the New World...

Hello edit that was done precious few days ago. Unless the internet lies to me, which it often does.

I would be more than interested than a zombie would be interested in a nice brain sandwich in which the bread was otherwise known as 'skull'. I honestly cannot remember, for the life of me, anything that happened in .hack//SIGN. So, what I know of (intones) '[The World]' might be a little off, or just a lot off. I figure that's okay since .hack has more of a 'squint and employ your imagination' approach to their larger concepts. I've read/watched/played just about everything that isn't SIGN and find I have an intense hatred for .hack's anime line, so you cannot make me watch SIGN for love, money or a promised 6 hours (min.) of sleep. I'm pretty sure I get the concept and more of the larger ideas than not, so it shouldn't be necessary. Thought I'd mention it just in case?

Now that I'm done boring you with my life story...

Is the current offer the same general base/plot as what you posted months ago? (Key of Twilight = Goal. Stuck in a stage/area unable to reconnect to your physical body and pull your stupid visor off. HP:0000/9999 =/= comma or permanent death. Search for clues, etc.) Ooor, has there been changes, new ideas, concepts, whatevers?

The RP won't be placed in "The World (V.1)", but rather V. 2, which is what GU and all that other stuff (excluding Key of the Twilight with Kite) takes place in, so not knowing much about Sign won't kill you.
(Pauses to punch my cat in the face for knocking over a glass bottle)
I can't remember what I put up before concerning the story line (in a post that is), and I don't feel like going back and reading it while I'm typing this, but there are (a lot) of changes to the story I previously had planned. When I'm not about to fall asleep, and cleaning up after my cat, I'll be sure to put up the basics of my new and improved platinum super duper story line idea.

i've been looking for one of these roleplays for a while, so I might have to read the wiki for it to catch up (can't find the show online....)

anyway, here's a bio I planned... let me know what you think.

Login: Yamihikaru (password ********)

Real Name: George nassus

Class: wavemaster (level 46)

Weapon: angel staff(attack56, magic 193, charge 145)

Signature Move: Blackout rift(attack153)

Appearance: The character is a human-type who wears a robe, blue like a saphire (Saphrobe, defence 139, attack 76, agility 176). he is weak, but can move quick. his hat, much like his robe, is blue, and incluedes a gem on the top, which adds to his (saphhat+, magic35, charge 45.). his gloves are leather. his eyes are green, his hair is red, but hidden.

Personality: Yamihikaru is very quiet, joining for the sole reason of making freinds, he failed miserably. however, he has made it to a good, medium range level. after some time, he even was able to write the code for a gate (The Blue Forge: key: beloved hell monoliths), which he keeps secret from most players. he keeps himself entertained by making very loyal creatures to act in this land.(guarder lvl range: 20-43, valkire lvl range 25-50, hellangle level 35-64)
Backstory:

Nassus grew up in a small town, where he grew up lonely. hacking into japaneese servers, he reached the world easily, but was caught. eventually, he was able to make freinds with the major people who run the server, and was allowed to play. after a few minor sets of arm pulling, Nassus was given minor administration abilities.
afterwards, the world became an addiction, much better than his own. he met a few people, and, although nothing major, it was enough to keep him going.

After some time, Nassus received a strange object in his own realm, which was not part of his origional code. reluctantly, he used (mystic sash) on his (elder staff), and it became another weapon. after a few tweakings, the weapon became his (angel staff). the gate code to his area has recently leaked, from the unknown.

Meg: It seems alright, I guess. Although we'd be using the World R2 in this, so you'd need to change the Wavemaster class type. The "mysterious item" thing would need to be removed completely from your history, the appearance needs to be fleshed out, and a major grammar check is needed, along with more information about his personality, and less about how he can hack crap. He also seems very similar to Elk in many ways.

As for my changed storyline...

Every character wouldn't be in the same guild, as previously planned. More freedom of choice has been implemented, and the main conflict has changed. That's the story I have down, for the most part. Interested?

ok, let me try this again then... same name, but I'll see what I can chage. actually, I was basing this off the first wavemaster seen in the sereis... that meiru...meirein... something like that. he has a mentality based off Alice Margatroid (touhou7)

Login: Yamihikaru (password ********)
Real Name: George nassus
Class: Harvest Cleric (level 46) velho
Weapon: angel staff(attack56, magic 193, charge 145)
Signature Move: Blackout rift(attack153)
Appearance: The character is a human-type who wears a robe, blue like a saphire (Saphrobe, defence 139, attack 76, agility 176). he is weak, but can move quick. his hat, much like his robe, is blue, and incluedes a gem on the top, which adds to his power (saphhat+, magic35, charge 45.). his gloves are leather, nothing too special. his eyes are green, his hair is red, but hidden mainly. he is about 5'' 8', with little tone. his face has softened, very younge features.

Personality: :=(: Yamihikaru is very quiet, and joined for the sole reason of making freinds, which he failed at miserably. (need a histarical crying emote) he is very tired, as he is often overworked, weather it be keeping up his server, or working a part-time job which keeps him online. he's resorted into becoming a nerd in the human world. it has worked semi well.

very lonely, he often keeps to himself... and... sometimes, he would prefer to keep it that way. "ah, the life of someone with some sophistication.... how awefully droll it can become"... after going through one of these "bipolar fits", Yamihikaru then normally goes into a "shut off" state. followed by fits of crying that are hilarious to watch. afterwards he just looks sad, and people feel bad for him. but they still don't care.... they never care....

Backstory:

Dispite his... emotional outbursts, however, he has made it to a good, medium range level. this was due to the help of a single person, who then stole from him. he forgot the incedent, and blamed his success on himself. once again, no one really cares. :'(

After some time, he even was able to write the code for a gate (The Blue Forge (theta server): key: beloved hell monoliths), which he keeps secret from most players. He keeps himself entertained by making very loyal creatures to act in this land.(guarder lvl range: 20-43, valkire lvl range 25-50, hellangle level 35-64)
afterwards, the world became an addiction, much better than his own. he met a few people, and, although nothing major, it was enough to keep him going.

The area he built has recently had a few strange occurances. Additionally, the gate code to his area has recently leaked to a few outside sources. he see's this positively, but doesn't realize any of the consequences. as far as he's concerned, it's a way he could make freinds. he didn't realize it, but eventually a gatherer made it into his realm. maybe. may have just spread that information as a rumor to make freinds. no one really knows.

Do what you want. Don't let Rin tell you what to do. If John3.14^106 doesn't say anything it's fine.

If you want to save the time of doing it, run it through OpenOffice.

You have to respect the one who came up with this idea, or any RP Idea. It’s an etiquette thing.

...another note just came to me. We all have our views on what the character looks like... anyone want to post artwork? I'm working on Yamihikaru at the moment...

In doing this, we can all understand some minor details on the character... although it won't effect role-play whatsoever.

I think we should also include weapons, their user, and anything else that comes to mind.

...wow... second edit today... I got to say everything at once...

Rin, I noticed you haven't put a Character description up. Considering that this was your idea, I was wondering why.

That's because this is the "idea and thought" thread. I want/ed to make sure I had/have some people who want/ed to do this before I start/ed it.
Also, King, since I'm going to be the GM, then he can't just do whatever he wants. He can, I suppose, but I have to clear it before he can be in the RP. What would John's opinion have to do with his character though? Did you mean Jack?

I'm not the greatest artist, but I'm not too bad I suppose. Once I actually make a character, I may do some artwork and put it up I suppose.
Oh, by the way, Gamer. You were thinking of Mistral; the treasure collecting Wavemaster.

I'm not exactly opposed to artwork, I'm told I'm 'good' so who knows. I just procrastinate horribly on everything art related.

Since this is based a little after G.U.+ (The manga adaptation is a little different than the game (and Trilogy for that matter) so are we saying that what happened in the manga is part of 'The World' history?) are some of the guilds from it still around? For instance if I wanted to make a character who's a PK and is a part of Kestrel would that be acceptable or do the guilds need to be made up? (If we want to say our character is a part of a guild, that is. Since guilds are usually portrayed as the in-thing in the world. Just wondering.)

I'm definitely still interested. And I love you for naming it Apeiron. That made my day, or night by this point, all the same thing though. Should I be following megagamer's example and post character sheets here? Or wait for a separate thread or more appropriate moment in time?

I'll throw up a character skeleton when I'm not singing to kawaii songs, but for now simply begin you're character if you haven't already. Whatever you come up with will likely be fine, if I'm judging you right, Imeetari.

On the matter of guilds... I actually haven't played the games of G.U. since my PS3 died a year or so ago (working to get another one... eventually) so I may not know that much about the guilds in G.U. I do know Moon Tree at least. I'm cool with you being in a guild that was in G.U., but please supply a description about it for me. Please and thanks.

Ouch, that bites. They're good games, the events are quite a bit different from the manga though. (Which cuts corners left right and center- there are corners in the center- and skipped a load of important parts. I was sure it'd be impossible to understand the concepts with the manga alone. A friend who only read them seems to get it though, so who knows?) If you can or if you haven't already you should check out .hack//Trilogy (which is a movie-thing caught somewhere between the manga and the games) Haseo's crazy faces are maxed-out. This makes them insanely hilarious (to people like me, maybe there are people who felt it added to the mood). Back on topic...

One more question (that won't affect my character profile so I are also posting it here). In the anime and manga (because the game has certain mechanics that don't allow you to flip all over the place like a crazy person because it really IS a program... the cut scenes though...) the actions are... well anime-y or cartoonish. They don't show a certain amount of 'being bound by the program that the game should probably have'. So, because I'm annoying and like to look at technicalities for absolutely no reason: Would we be able to do stupid things that probably wouldn't be programmed (because in order to do anything in anything it's either a horrible (and sometimes highly amusing) glitch (like the pillowing and floating-by-shooting with the guns originally was in DMC) or there's a program for it in anything that's determined by a program). For instance what if my character found a very large stick or stole a flick reaper's scythe and decided they wanted to vault themselves somewhere, or say they rip some dirt out of the ground and whip it into an enemy players face, OR GO SWIMMING (because this never happens in any MMO I've ever seen OR in the G.U. games), or something more bizarre and less on-the-spot-think-up-able that really needs a situation to dictate it... Would you be able to do that?

In other words: Should we RP this like there's actually a program restricting what our character does? Or should we just assume the programmers of the world are insane and programmed every single thing that could possibly happen into it? Just wondering in case this should be obvious and I do something stupid.

I said one question and I lied. For anyone coming into this, because I likely won't do this for my character... As we may or may not know Haseo is the only Dual Gunner in existence in the offical DOThack world to this date. Since we're basing this a little after G.U.+ 'The World' instead of permabanning Haseo (because you don't save the internet and except CCorp NOT to find out about it) accommodated and made Dual Gunner an official new class, maybe? Or not, it doesn't directly affect me either way. Even so Zelkova showed us the magical power of hacking. Again, just wondering: Can someone have a hacked character whose base Class might be, say, Harvest Cleric but they can possess skills, items (of the equip-able type) and [some] stats of a Twin Blade in addition to their own? (Apply same question to every other class). Just wanted to put that out there since apparently it's possible and could potentially show up. But will it be allowed here? [Not to be used to justify God Modding.]

Is the following beastie okay?

Real.Life//
Name//
Niel Connor Fynntale
Age//
17
Gender//
Male
Appearance//
Having not quite grown into himself Niel is still a scraggly, potentially unattractive, teenager. He stands close to six feet but is all arms and legs and thin torso with absolutely no build. He has brown hair, cut short and usually gelled into spikes he thinks looks cool, he never outright says that to anyone though. He has green eyes and pale skin that burns extremely easily if exposed to sun, ever, and is completely covered in freckles like someone doodled all over him in photoshop.
Generally he keeps his clothing simple, a few T-shirts, some with band logo's on them; some baggy jeans, most with a few rips and tears from wear; sneakers, being his only shoes they're well worn and comfortable; socks, which he never wears in his house but uses them for the purposes of shoes and slightly less smelly feet.
Personality//
Introverted, Niel generally keeps to himself. In crowds or with strangers he won't say much of anything if he can help it and takes a few hours to warm up to you. Once he knows a person he generally talks much more and can lose himself in a experience with others. Generally he tries to avoid talking about his own interests, since he doesn't know anyone who might actually find anything he's into interesting. He finds it easy enough to pick up and carry conversations other people start, but can never start his own. (If he tries it results in a lot of "So..."'s and "Uh..."'s and awkward silences).
Despite his ability to become more spoken around people he's used to he avoids social outings (like going to dinner, movies and any sort of social event most people participate in or consider 'fun'). Though he's not quite agrophobic he's pretty close, and would rather waste time looking up lore and playing MMO's (mainly 'The World'). He also actually does his homework as soon as possible, and in cases like essays, science labs, creative writing, reports (etc.) he meticulously reads them over and corrects whatever he can before handing it in. He's never the top in his class but he's usually got marks to make his parents happy (and still has time to waste!).
When he spends too much time with people he tends to get tired, and when tired he is more than easy to irritate. Causing him to snap at the slightest good-natured teasing or joking remark, just don't say anything truly offensive or practically irritating otherwise Niel might just explode.
History//
He's had no traumatic experiences, well, the family cat died when he was fifteen. That doesn't really count, plus they got a new kitten a few months later. The bad was crossed out by the good.
He's basically a normal kid, never had to suffer through any sort of severe bullying, he's never been outright picked on by teachers, parents, peers or random strangers, he's never been mugged, raped or suddenly in the middle of a gunfight. His sister did punch him once, but, again, that doesn't really count.
He's gone to school, gotten good grades this far, and, like most people, longs for more.
(Shoot, I'm going against DOThack regulations. Quick! Someone give me something to give him to angst about!)

Appearance//
Might be doodling a picture.
Trying to give his character a more 'badass' appearance Niel started by giving his character red eyes. Red Eyes = Badassery: common fact. He made the hair black mostly short tufts of hair sticking up at odds and ends but with a longer (still layered) lock falling down one side of his face, it falls along the side not over it. The accents on his skin are neon green, as are most of the accents on his clothing, which he made also mostly black.
He wears a shorter jacket with a hood that ends just a little beyond his hips, the lower portion is cut into three segments, from beneath it springs another jack (same color and design, it's just for the layering effect) that goes to the ground. He has combat boots that go up his legs a little further than is usually considered the norm for masculine people/characters with bright red details. His pants almost looks like a complicated mess of plates with patterns done in the same bright red. A wide tight belt clipped off to the side holds the torso of the coat(s) close to his characters body (and through the magic of graphics doesn't make him look bulky).
He didn't mean to look like Christmas, really, green and red are complimentary colors!
Personality//
Under the semi-impression that online relationships really don't matter, as you're just connected to another person via a bunch of data and commands dictating that data, he never gets close to anyone online. He forms parties for the odd PK outing but for the most part works alone. He's not famous for his deeds or anything, just another annoying PK. (He isn't even notorious enough to get put on that list for that 'Hunting the Hunters' quest available at the Quest Shop). He doesn't bother hiding it like some PK's do though. (i.e. Walking up to a newb going "Hai dar we I r n00b helpar and wud liek to halp u. k? Come dis way so eye can keelz u. Oops did eye sayz dat?") He's also not picky about who he kills, he'll just as soon kill another PK as he will a normal player. He also likes going for people around his level, he holds nor particular ill-will towards newbs and doesn't find it challenging enough to bother with them.
Considering he's never bothered forging a relationship with anyone online besides forming parties (where he usually doesn't bother speaking unless it's necessary anyways), he would probably be twice as awkward as he is in real life. Despite trying to stick to his views as being blocked by a big wall of data and that it doesn't matter, 'The World' is still more of a home to him than the real world, sometimes. As such when someone talks to him like a normal person, really tries to have a real conversation he generally balks and instead of reverting to his calm cool silence he winds up 'um'ing and 'er'ing trying to think of something to say that might impress or interest the person speaking to him.
On the battlefield when he's not being stoic he sometimes experiments with a high-and-mighty attitude and really bad one-liners (he tries very hard to be witty). After all, it is the internet, no one knows him there, so why not let himself act like an asshole for the fun of it sometimes?
Overall a consistency in his online character isn't exactly there, but since it's his character he can do whatever he wants with it as long as he doesn't get his IP banned from 'The World'. It would be embarrassing to have to log in at the public library.
Guilds//
Kestrel
Server: Δ
Word Pass: Sneering Failing Empire
---Leader: Gabi ("I'm Gabi! : D")
---A guild dedicated to PK's (Player Killers) and PKK's (Player-Killer Killers), yeah: both. They gather, Gabi lets them go forth and slaughter, that's about all there is to it. It's just organized Player Killing. Gather a party of like minded individuals and Go-Go-Go!
History//
He's been playing 'The World' for a little over a year now, at first he wasn't that into it. But as soon as he was at a high enough level to experience the magic of PKing the game became a lot more fun. It made the game more interesting to fight other players, which a higher level of intelligence than the AI monsters and all that, as it made the game a little harder. If they're around the same level at least, the fun's still taken out of fighting real people if they're level 1 and he's level 60.
As previously stated, he hasn't made a reputation for himself. Though he did find out about the arena system most PK's and PKK's aren't interested in Arena tournaments. Not unless they're Bordeaux and have a crazy obsession with crushing Haseo. Some PK's are interested, but among the people at Kestrel it's generally frowned upon, and 'Oilipheist' wouldn't want to look like a loser by asking. Plus he has no online friends, so he wouldn't be able to ask them either.
Recently his interest in 'The World' has started to dwindle. His inability to socially interact effectively would be the main cause, as it stops him from experiencing the world as most fanatics do. Part of him wants to meet new people and have something interesting happen, something beyond the normal (like that would ever happen, right?) because in a game he doesn't really have anything to lose. So he's all for epic 'life threatening' adventure. He just has no one to do it with, and it's no fun alone. (He believes that the last 3 World Crisis's were just some sort of prank CC pulled to give 'The World' even more publicity.)
He's been thinking about joining on on special events, but, as always, winds up not participating.
Other//
Usually hangs around on the Θ (Theta) server, since it's area levels are generally between 50 and 100. (City: Dol Dona). Though he often goes to the main server city (Δ/Delta) Mac Anu to catch up on news and hit the best shops.

No, there won't be any Dual Gunners. A hacked character type is a hacked character type, and always will be.
Regarding hacks... No, there will be none, unless something happens to your character in the RP. If you want to have other class abilities, you'll just have to be an adept rouge.
You may be as free as you want with actions, since it'd be incredibly restricting to say otherwise. Just keep it realistic... (I.E. You wouldn't climb a building in Mac Anu... Nor would a brick fall off because you did so.)

Concerning your (everyone that is) character's stats, don't worry about getting so specific. Simply putting up your level will be just fine; it'll be easy to figure how strong you are from that (we can assume you have equipment average for your level).

Works for me, now I can arbitrarily pass steam gunners on the streets instead of dual gunners. This works. And absolutely no hackers reduces the need for flamboyant treasure hunters to make them feel horrible about themselves for getting items 'illegally'! Hurrah!
I climb buildings in Mac Anu constantly, treating the controls exactly like Assassin's Creed does wonders, you would not believe how just pretending you're playing another game actually makes you play another game. And then I found my glasses and realized the white blob on screen wasn't Haseo, it was Altair. And then I felt stupid, really stupid. The kind of stupid you feel when making really retarded posts on the internet that make people hate you for making them read.

Well, the level's up there, so I don't see a point in going back to change it. It definitely makes it look more official... or something. If anybody wants to get stingy and knit-picky about things I guess it could be useful to them, too. But we can just ignore them, too. Unless someone finds it offensive or something, which I'm sure someone somewhere does, maybe not here right now, but one day...

Sorry, Rin, I really shouldn't write things when I'm half asleep (but this knowledge won't prevent it in the future). Basic translation of post: "I am a dumbass. Ignore me."

Crossing paths is now inevitable, megagamer! There should be ridiculous amounts of... ridiculous things involved. Like despite the fact that hundreds, possibly thousands, of idiots log onto 'The World' daily and most probably go through the Theta server since Mac Anu is, obviously, the most swinging town around- Oilipheist and yamihikaru should just SMACK into each other anyways. Complete with handcuffs and a Scotsman to seal the deal. Sort of like precognition, only more physical and less vague. This plain is flawless and completely logical!! 'The World' isn't exactly the mother of all things logical, so why not? Considering they're both apparently quiet (usually) I can't imagine anything happening without a Scotsman and a set of shiny flying handcuffs (on a straight trajectory for both of their wrists, of course) intervening. I suppose we'll see though, thus is the magic of RPing.

either we should all create a second character, or we need to get others on this. untill then, we have to rely on Hunter for our next move, and work from there.

I purposely did mine so I wouldn't be in the main plot instantly, and I have to wait for a character to enter my area.Rin obviously isn't going to continue to the end of the dungeon untill there's another person in the mix, as he's already part of a main stream dungeon, I'm guessing.
