if we can choose our faction, then won't some people choose to be on opposite sides? then, being a rebel group, the non-rebels would try to kill him, and the rebel's would return the favor for anyone on the other side, so wouldn't that be bad if everyone is trying to kill each other? |

No, its not bad if you're trying to kill each other, in the other RP's I've seen you all work together, never as opponents, so I think we should have one that doesn't do that, of course if your guys disagree then I'll take out on of the factions. |

Oh, and you may want to make several characters and should one die, create another diffrent character to replace it. Only one at a time, but this way I can reintroduce you throughout the RP quickly. You only need to start out with one, I'll give you a couple weeks before I start to pit you against each other. Extra bonuses, Them has got the answer. No one else. Yet. Name: Escher Allegiance: the Forge Bonuses: Crime Lord, Demon Heritage Starting Weapon: Knife Psychological Profile: Escher is considered a highly dangerous individual, gifted at manipulating and twisting the minds of others. He is known for his sadism and blind cruelty, which he exercises whenever given a chance. However, he is also extremely patriotic, and has an almost religions devotion to the Forge and its government. Background: The man who would later be known as Escher was brought up in one of the Forge's great and terrible cities, a horrifying hellscape of suffering in every imaginable form. His parents had been taken away by the Forge very soon after his birth, though he never knew anything of this event. Like so many other children in this poverty-stricken world, he grew up in an environment where there was no such thing as right or wrong, where nothing is a crime except defiance of the government itself. And like all the other members of his own generation, he learned to kill very early on. The government watched his struggles for power, his victories and his defeats, never stepping in, never showing any sign that everything he did was carefully observed. Only when he had learned to manipulate and enslave the children around him was he placed in the military. Twelve years ago, when the Forge launched its large-scale extermination of the resistance movement, a computer-generated list containing the names of every military officer in the Forge's legion was carefully probed for a man that could be used in future operations to gather intelligence for the Forge's government. When the man who would be Escher was chosen, he was given a test that would determine how skilled a leader he was. His task was to eliminate every member of the resistance in a small city. Instead of making it into a military operation and asking for soldiers to command, he personally infiltrated the city where the resistance movement had built their stronghold, acting as a demagogue and spurring the population to openly hunt down the city's rebels. Only when he set them against themselves, causing them to tear up their way of life and allowing the Forge to enslave the millions residing in the city, was he hailed as a war hero and given the position of Inquisitor. It was for his manipulative skills, and the way he had bent the psychologies of the people he had met, that he was given a new name: Escher. Edited by Themistocles, Jun 11 2009, 07:08 PM.

Okay, because Them's character grew up in, as he puts it a hellish city, I've got to say something. I've decided where you grew up will play a part as well, so add that in. If you grew up somewhere then certain people may know you, affecting the RP. So put that stuff in. |

name: Chris Faction: None Rank: None Job: Mercenary for Hire Reputation: crazy destructive person, who always gets the job done. you do NOT double cross him, because he will immediatly abandon his job, kill you, your family, and your friends. Perks: Marine and Crime Lord Physical Description: a little on the short side, being only 5 feet 4 inches tall, Chris is and interesting combination. if you look at his arms, you don't see much muscle, so people generally tend to assume that he is weak, but he has very powerful legs, enabling him to jump highand run quickly. even though his arms are skinny, he has more than sufficient strength to haul himself up places. he is completly average in all of his looks, however. it is very difficult to pick him out in a crowd, unless he is randomly selected for something. Background: Chris grew up in the slums. at a young age, he quickly learned that it was far better to appear a skinny wraith and hide, instead of being the muscle-bound gang leader. he was very often picked on by larger kids, who thought that size and strength meant everything. Chris was a quick learner, and soaked up stuff. one day in his youth, he met someone with similar problems, but this other short kid knew ways of defeating larger opponents, so Chris stuck with him and learned. Equipment/Weapons: something of a loner, Chris has no high-tech gadgets or toys, just speed, endurance, and, of course, a sniper rifle. he took the odd assassination job to see him through rough times, and didn't worry about wether or not there was a trail because the capital never investigated. he also has several well balanced knives, designed for throwing. made of a very hard material, he has tested them against many other materials, adn even if his knives can't cut through it, they do not break, or get dented or nicked edges. he also likes to have an ancient revamped M16 rifle, for mid-range combat. it features a nice scope, about a third the power of his sniper rifle's. he has about 3-5 stash's of weapons in each of the major cities, and always carries 1 set with him at all times. he also has some explosives, namely rpg's and missiles, that he uses for major targets, like tanks, or aircraft, or buildings. he has a highpowered pda used for infiltrating and defeating alarm systems, and gaining any sort of information Armor: mostly depending on speed and mobility to keep him safe, he does however have a decent quality body armor, worn under his clothes. |

Basically...he insulted Enigma (and Enigma insulted him), I told them to stop. He did it again (unprovoked), and I told him to stop. Myrrah yelled at me (and Zen), I got annoyed at Myrrah, then he insulted and talked down to others in the HR-45 thread (which is gone...), I got more annoyed at him, then Myrrah told everyone to stop, which annoyed me more (although it shouldn't have...), since he was the only one causing a problem. I told Myrrah that her anger (in both situations) was misplaced, she responded, and then sent another PM telling me to get on AIM, we talked, and somewhere in the middle of it all, she asked him to leave. He said he would, and asked Myrrah to delete his posts. Then Myrrah asked me to help. I think that about sums it up. Not sure if anyone else was involved, but that's more or less it. ~Bob |
