I am fond of themes, although even a theme of random favourites would work! But perhaps we can organize the choices, as I mentioned this evening, around the elements (earth, air, fire, and/or water)... or a winter concert... or pop music eras... What do people think? I do not know what might be an elven theme for January... *wanders off to research* |

The elemental theme is a good place to start. Try to keep it to 7-parters or less, or 8 with optional instrument drops Last week we did: Under the Waterfall Celduin Spirit of the Sea Forever Autumn Time Rain Song Windlord Lament Moondance that give us at least 6 so far, and more if you liked the other songs enough to include them. Plan to play the Bree stage again. Plan on instrument parts to foster crowd interaction instead of juggling. Advertise a bit(and thus decide on a musical name for the group, otherwise it's just Leaves of Laurelin, which is ok too) |

Here Comes the Rain Again - drop flute, if necessary, and substitute bagpipes for the horn part. |

Here's the playlist comments, both here and in txt format. PLEASE feel free to make up your own or tweak them. Welcome to our concert; Where Elvish Waters Flow Our first song is Wings of the Windlord, an original song from Vestri. This is said to be the "Hymn of the House of the Arrow". One next song was transcribed by Fionnuala, and it from Led Zeppelin, way back in 1973. It's called "the Rain Song". Do we have any Jethro Tull fans? Our next song is "Songs from the Wood", and is also transcribed by Fionnuala. Up next we have "Firien Wood". The Mering stream beneath Halifirien? AH, well. let us take you back to the Eastfold and Beaconwatch then. Makalaure here wrote this piece, but he can't remember why. Our next song is "Red Wine and a Quiet Night". Most elves call that a good evening. written by Richard Perritt, transcribed by Snarald, consumed by Naerrin. Next we take a trip "Behind the Waterfall". David Lanz has a lot of good tunes, and this one was transcribed by Vydor. Congratulations! It's your elvish wedding night. "It's a fine time to leave me Lirille", by John Denver, transcribed by our own Makalaure. What? Oh, sorry, it's just "Lirille". Please forget that time to leave stuff. From Phede comes our next song, "Arnorian Rubble" Continuing with the camping in Arnor ruins theme, our next song is Heart's "Sylvan Song / Dream of the Archer", transcribed by kio. With many thanks to Astleigh and the fabulous Lonely Mountian Band, our next song if "Celduin", the River Running. You have to go WAY back to find elves at this one. Makalaure has transcribed an elvish Alan Parson's favorite, "Time". Our next song is from Blackmore's Night, and is transcribed by our Makalaure. It's called "Spirit of the Sea". Turst us, he is one. Our Beachcomber Makalaure is not quite done! He brings us this original, "White Swanship". We understand it's an all inclusive cruise. |

I have dyed Naerrin's dress Sea Blue, I think it looks nice, but Turquoise is an option still. ![]() Also, Gladhlim dug out a robe and dyed it to match her dress But do we want to be all matchy-matchy? We can decide on Wednesday, if not sooner. |

I would vote no on the matching wardrobe for the water concert. The theme of blues is wonderful. Solstice choir was one thing, but the where the waters flow should be a varied collection. |
