As the War of the Ring intensifies, new threats have come to the fields and forests of Middle-earth! Powerful servants of the Enemy can now be found in Angmar, Forochel, Central Gondor, Western Gondor, and the Misty Mountains. For those bold enough to stand against these foes, new and unique rewards can be obtained by claiming the brands they bear.

We (high levels) are called upon to destroy these threats by gathering together in good fellowship and searching them out.

Be there at 9, the first 6 will go out together, the rest will be gathering with Gloros to shine up his armor.

Six of us went out to battle threats in the Misty Mountains. We destroyed the threats, some easier than others.
Baroncapella, Turwyn, Inheroth, Auru, Nelyafinwe and I found good fellowship and fun together. More are welcome to join us as these are dailies.

Next we will tackle Angmar. Here is a great map to use. All these threats are level 100 and are immune to many things.

Or if we would rather head to Forochel, we can kill these threats.

Tonight we took care of the roving threats in Angmar and possibly tomorrow evening we will wind our way up to the Helcaraxe, er I mean, Forochel, to destroy the roving threats up there. Come join us! This night we had more than a fellowship with us including two guys who were on skype, in our TS channel and playing the game very well. Talk about multitasking!

See you tomorrow.

:joy I will be your leader for this Saturday night, September 17. We will be meeting on the road to Minas Tirith at 8 pm (5 for us west coasters) yahooo

Anyone level 100 or a few up or down is invited.
We need a full fellowship for this one because we will be searching the landscape for Warband threats.
If we do not have a full fellowship we will be working in Minas Tirith from level 1 to the top. We are hoping to gain the deed for doing all 21 quests. So come prepared with bags emptied, quest logs with room for more quests and all repairs made. If you will be late or not able to come this week please put a post in the shoutbox.

      Warband: Okursa
Okursa is a Nemesis Man with 417,791 morale and 26,901 power. He has 2 Elite Master Half-troll Scouts (168,788 morale each) and 3 Elite Haradrim Devoted (94,003 morale each) with him. Defeat the Half-trolls and Haradrim first to remove Okursa's Bloodpack buff, which negates 90% of his incoming damage.

      Warband: Kûr-anchi
Kûr-anchi is a Nemesis Mûmak with 843,938 morale and 29,591 power. She has 3 Elite Haradrim Devoteds (94,003 morale each) with her. Defeat the Haradrim first to remove Kûr-anchi's Bloodpack buff, which negates 90% of her incoming damage.
There will be glowing "target" areas on the ground nearby, within a few seconds of their appearance a volley of arrows will fall there. It's best to move away if you are in it, and avoid it if you are riding toward one.
You can avoid nearby adds by fighting him when he is on the "other side" of the wall. He wanders close to the wall and occasionally crosses into the marsh beyond. Keep out of the water, but this prevents too many nearby mobs adding to the fray.

      Warband: Sharshûg
Sharshûg is an Elite Master Troll with 281,257 morale and 10,653 power. He has 4 Signature Morgul Marauders (45,497 morale each) with him. Defeat the orcs first to remove Sharshûg's Bloodpack buff, which negates 90% of his incoming damage.

      Warband: Fen-skulk
Fen-skulk is an Elite Fen-lurker with 111,676 morale and 8,877 power. He has 3 Signature Anórien Fen-creepers (49,634 morale each) with him. Defeat the Fen-creepers first to remove Fen-skulk's Bloodpack buff, which negates 90% of his incoming damage.

      Warband: Tupûrta
Tupûrta is an Elite Master Man with 626,624 morale and 16,275 power. He has 3 Elite Sûhalar Warriors (189,886 morale each) with him. Defeat the Sûhalar first to remove Tupûrta's Bloodpack buff, which negates 90% of his incoming damage.

      Warband: Mauzúr
Mauzúr is an Elite Orc riding a warg with 92,488 morale and 8,150 power. He has 4 Signature Warg-rider Sentries (41,106 morale each) with him. Defeat the warg-riders first to remove Mauzúr's Bloodpack buff, which negates 90% of his incoming damage.

Wrath of Elemmírë !
We'll be on again Saturday eve 10pm East / 7pm West . We'll be doing the following most of the evening:

#1 anything a Laurelin member asks for help in doing

#2 Minas Tirith
Warbands as Maka listed above if we have enough folks.
Minas Tirith Epic battles and Merry Swan quests if it's just a few of us. (Need to mix up the FedEx quests with a little action to stay awake)

#3 anything a Laurelin member asks for help in doing (in case that wasn't clear before)

edited time to make organization later in the evening West Coast

Thanks for making it later. This weekend us local farmers play pinochle from 3 until we eat all the food. This month is my turn to host so I may be a little late but I will be there.

We had a good turnout last night!
Yerelind graciously declined assistance in Balewood, however please contact them if you have a good supply of Roundup or a used chainsaw to loan.

Auru suggested completing Book Quests to prepare for Update 19 new zones. Noloth was the lowest (or so she thought) so we finished off Volume IV Book 1 for Auru & Turwyn, and began Book 2. It was good fellowship. Turwyn and I had to camp about Midnight Eeastern time due to harvesting at 6am, but that is now over. We're liking the 10pm EDT start for us.

Who wishes to lead next Saturday?

What are our plans for the War of Wrath this evening? What do folks need/want to do? Everything is possible!

If no one else wants to lead, I will. But my mic seems to not be working and I think a leader needs a voice. I'll try to work on it before I come in but I have no expectations. Remember, everyone get on teamspeak before we begin. Also, remember to empty your bags and be ready to start.

We will start at the lowest book our group needs to do. Saturday eve 10pm East / 7pm West

Gather together next Saturday night!

We will travel to Gondor and start at the lowest book our group needs to do. Currently that is Vol IV, Book 2: the Dawnless Day, Chapter 9, Even in darkness. This is a Fellowship quest to raid a ship!
If someone new joins us we will happily backtrack to get them caught up.

Saturday eve 10pm East / 7pm West

Just a heads up. My area is going to be hit with hurricane force winds and LOTS of rain from a typhoon that crossed the Pacific. They are saying it MAY be the storm of the century. If I don't show up, it will be because I am without power

Here's the origin of the Leeroy Jenkins meme, that came up last week as we were struggling in the Ruined City... Caution, it's WoW, so there's a lot of salty language.

https://youtu.be/hooKVstzbz0

I played that game for a year or so, 2007. The Boy played it for five or six years, but he got pretty tired of it. He mocks me for still playing LotRO, but I've met so many kind and funny people here, I imagine I'll keep hanging out in Middle-earth as long as Turbine lets me!

I have been devoting some time to making Revi a better guardian. Landscape enemies have never bothered her much, so Saturday's difficulties came as quite a shock. blink

Is this what we are going for? A pretty pony for Hiril Alassante? *laughs*
