A young lady in a dark leather outfit gets everyone's attention and says: "My brother Braxley doesn't want me to fight alone, and I think he's being a worrywart as usual, but I don't really want to make him unhappy and in any case, I think I'm rather talented but I'm sure I can do things on a team that I couldn't do by myself, especially if other people around here are even more talented. So perhaps once a week I could gather some folks to go out and hunt down evil things in various places? Braxley thinks I should go to the Barrow-downs near Bree to learn what it's like to fight dead things. Who wants to follow me there on Monday?" So the Eärenya fellowship recently started meeting every Friday. Friday evenings are not a particularly good time for me, and I think there was at least one other person for whom that time frame didn't work. Additionally, I have some interest in getting some group play for my newest character (Emmarissa, currently a level 22 burglar) on a regular basis, even more so because burglars seem a little more designed for grouping up than other classes do. So I'm proposing a Monday night group as an alternative for those who aren't available Fridays and an additional opportunity for those who want to show up on both days. I'm hoping to make Emmarissa into sort of a secondary main character, so it's possible she would outpace the leveling rate of other alts that join this group. There are a few ways this could be dealt with: *First of all, I don't absolutely have to use Emmarissa for this group. I could instead bring in another alt, possibly Balathas (level 21 LM) or maybe Karrolf (level 18 minstrel). In this case I would just try to get Emmarissa into groups occasionally on an irregular basis at other times. *We could also have the other group members change up as necessary, with Emmarissa recruiting whichever characters are most suitable for whatever group task she wants to attempt on any given Monday. *Or I could try to avoid bringing Emmarissa too far out of range of the other characters in the group (after bringing her up to their general level if we choose a higher level range for this fellowship). I mentioned the Barrow-downs in the IC bit above partly because I've never done the Great Barrow before. So I'd be interested in trying to get a group into there at some point. But that's certainly open to discussion. (Naturally I want to make this group good for all the members, not just me.) Thoughts? Anyone that wants to get in on a regular fellowship but is unavailable both Monday and Friday? Proposals for level range or what time in the evening to meet up or where to go questing? Any other plans or ideas of any kind? |

Mondays are good for me, generally on or after 9pm eastern. I'd be open to an new alt but don't have much near that range - mine are mid-30s. If I start an alt lets see what's needed in the group and what level we'd like to start. |

I can also power-level one of my low-20s alts for a little while, if we decide to go with a level 30+ group. (Just long enough to catch up to everyone else, of course.) I've actually been trying not to do many skirmishes with Emmarissa (and to a lesser extent my other lowish-level characters) specifically because they level you up SO quickly when you're in the 20s. |

I probably can play off and on on Mondays....It is my best day of the week to play during the summer months... Emmarissa and Sq"u"ash meet in the barrows the other day....what a team! |

Yeah, that was a very effective combination. Unfortunately it looks like there isn't much interest in a Monday night group, but I'll try to log on with Emmarissa every Monday evening in case stuff ends up happening. |
