This weeks's Friday night raid is all about the RP Rivendell Walk.

Looking for interested parties for a Sunday night raid- please feel free to make alternate suggestions!!!
small fellowship Northcotton Farms?
full fellowship Lost Temple again?
full raid the Rift

Haradwen pointed out you can earn Tokens of the Northmen by murdering, killing, protecting proper society by eliminating 100 folks out side of Ost Dunhoth, apparently without going in.

Hah! I decided to test this out myself, and unfortunately there appears to be only one wandering signature-level wight that counts for this quest. So one would have to kill (and let respawn) this same wight 100 times to complete it. That said, if we could gather 12 friends we could have some fun in Ost Dunhoth.

The Rift would be great fun.

As far as the In Their Absence quest chain goes, proper order is Northcotton Farm -> Stoneheight -> Lost Temple -> Sari-Surma -> Ost Dunhoth. There are a good number of medallions to pick up along the way, so it definately pays to do them in order. I'm always game to run Northcotton Farm and Stoneheight as I'd love to finish earning enough medallions for one full suit of armour for an alt (and to use cosmetically). The Tier 2 challenges for those two are fun. I'd love to hit up Sar-Surma this weekend, but I'm game for pretty much whatever else anyone is interested in doing.

I'm game for whatever pops up. My graduation is on Friday though, so I may not be on until fairly late.

That's two Eärenya in a row the boss mobs stole our lunch money!
Is part of the problem Ol'T and I being < 70, or is it just a matter of learning the last few tricks?
Looking to Sunday night retry in Sammath, if we can get enough interested.

I think we did well, just a problem with the last boss and all his adds.

I have to be MANWE for Sunday performance with MVT at 8:30. If we start around 9:00 I should be done. I will work on getting Cotumo some more will today.

Actually, Kio, I think the reason we're having a tough time with those two instances is that they were made for the old character stat system where it paid to have stats more balanced. Now, a tank (OT) should pile on as much vitality and raw morale as possible, burglars and hunters need to pile on the agility (and some vitality), and healers need tons of will. The other problem is that Alassante is several levels higher than OT, so his taunts don't work as well to steal aggro back from Alassante. So in that regard, several of us are a little over-leveled. It's nothing we're doing wrong that I can see.

Alassante is such a super healer. Maybe we can dress up Ol'T to look more intimidating. Fangs, or maybe a hokey mask. Ol'T, do you have a chain saw in game?

On a more serious note, Alassante seems to be able to easily keep Ol'T alive. Should Cotumo and I break off and deal with the Loremaster/summoner spawns as they show up, particularly if he summons one every time he loses X thousand morale instead of a timer? Slow things down a bit.

Maybe a few less of us beating on the boss makes Ol'T the more attractive target. Yeah, that's it, make Ol'T better looking.

Makalaure, you have way too much fun portraying Valar!

It wouldn't hurt to try DPSing down the adds when they pop up.

One of the problems was that Cotumo's weapons were new and with no relics on them. Both had to be reforged at level 10 so he had little dps going. Now he is a killing machine!

I won't be home until late this evening (10:30ish central), but if anyone's around when I get home, I'd be happy to join in the fray.
