On Friday night (Sat afternoon for Aussies) January 14th Kio & Turwyn are hosting an RP Open House Tour & Pantry Raid. All kinfolk are invited & welcomed to drop by. Every kinmember who has a house is invited to join in and open up their house to visitors as well! Just sign up on this thread. Particulars: raid chat for RP main body - kinfolk are welcome to visit anytime of the evening in any order, separate from the main group if they prefer. Each house on the tour will be open to visitors Optional: Each house on the tour will have chests open to kinfolk only. A food and a drink will be provided for guests in the house chest - help yourself to one of each. Kinfolk must help visitors. The Pantry Raid is a mystery based game played like Clue by visiting all the houses on the tour. Timing: Beginning at 9pm EST, whatever willing musicians available will perform a song or two beginning at the kinhouse, then move onto each house on the tour every 15 minutes or so, RPing and performing a song or two again. Hunters will be available to help transport the raiding parties as close to housing instances as feasible. The Pantry Raid The pie for the kin-moot has been stolen from the kinhouse pantry! House Tour guests are invited to look for clues at every house to deduce whom took the pie , what kind of pie it was and which house it is in. The first person to send a tell to Kio with the correct answers wins. You only get one formal guess! Prize to be determined. At each house on the tour will be items in the chest giving the clues as to whom, what and where it is NOT. Kio & Turwyn will place all the items in the chests just prior to the tour. current list of open houses on the tour: Elf Kinhouse - #5 Waterbank Road, Noldalad Dinkum - #6 Waterbank Road, Noldalad Corulach - #4 Haven Way, Noldalad Dwarf Oldtusk - #3 Cloven Crescent, Rikbarg Hobbit Cotumo - #3 Chalk Road Man Turwyn - #3 Fountain Street, Axtow Kio - #4 Garden Street, Axtow Edited by kio, Jan 14 2011, 04:50 PM.

Count me in. My house is just down the road (and up a cliff) from the kinhouse at 4 Haven Way, Noldalad, Falathorn Homesteads. How do you fit in your house Cotumo? Isn't the ceiling a little low? Edited by Henidhor, Dec 28 2010, 10:37 PM.

Pantry Raid details In each house except the kinshouse, in the bottom right side one of their chests, you will find three items. A crafted hat, a fruit, and a crafted glove. PLEASE LEAVE THE ITEMS IN THE CHESTS Hovering over the crafted hat and glove will reveal a clue in the "name" portion of the items description. The fruit is obvious. There are 6 houses on the House Tour, but 7 fruits, 7 hats and 7 gloves. By visiting every house and comparing the found clues to the list below, you should be able to eliminate 6 of the 7 choices and the remaining item is the answer! The hat is our pie cover. It will reveal a clue about where the missing pie really isn't. the possible locations the pie was taken are: The Kinhouse Dinkum's house Corulach's house Cotumo's house Turwyn's house Kio's house Oldtusk's house the fruit is what our pie is! the possible types of pies that was stolen are: strawberry blueberry blackberry rasberry elderberry apple oat The gloves are our our ovenmitts. It will reveal a clue about who didn't eat the missing pie. possible pie thieves are: Petrin Dinkum Corulach Cotumo Truwyn Kio Oldtusk If Oldtusk cannot make it back online in time to give us his address, the Kinhouse will be used in place of Oldtusk's house for clue placement. This DOES NOT AFFECT THE CLUES THEMSELVES. Edited by kio, Jan 9 2011, 08:25 PM.

This was a lot of fun! Thanks to Kio and Turwyn for the idea and the planning. Poor Cotumo couldn't remember he ate the Pie at Turwyn's house. He never could hold his liquor. It's always a great time to get together with kin, no matter what their levels are, to do things together. |
