Wood trolls and sock monkeys

Back when the Annarima fellowship was helping Legolas handle a few wood trolls, I made a comment when I saw a wood troll collapsed on the ground about how they reminded me of sock monkeys.

Alassante had no idea what I was talking about, and I said something to the effect that I would post a link to show her.

For those of you who do know what I'm talking about, and think I'm a bit off the mark...sure, sock monkeys aren't as overall-y brown as wood trolls, and wood trolls certainly don't have tails or the cheery red features that sock monkeys do, but when either falls down, they tend to fall the same way. Come to think of it, if sock monkeys were as big as wood trolls, they'd be a force to reckon with, even if they're softer than their distant cousins twelve times removed.

After running someone else through that instance again, I remembered I neglected to enlighten Alassante further about sock monkeys...

...until now.

The sock monkeys await the arrival of their distant twelve times removed wood troll cousin guests to the very splendid party:

*screams silently like a sock monkey and collapses in a heap*

How could I have missed the world of sock monkeys?

*hits self in the head with Costa Rican version of a sock monkey - ours howl at passing trucks*

I, now, will never see a troll again without the image of one sprawled in all its sockatude. Thanks!
