We all have alts and I thought that we might consider putting another group together to include some of the our members who are on summer break now or in other time zones and haven't been able to join us. I know Dimi is out there as well as Dralon, Cirthalion and I thought we had a member by the name of Natkim? Anywho post if there any interest in this.

Issel I'm so sorry I could group with you tonight! Let's do some questing this week, though... maybe we can get some others around level 40 to come along, too.

Yes, absolutely for getting a group together. Who would be interested in the 37+ range? You, Hildinson ( quite a bit of muscle between a warden and a guardian) and who else?

I've talked to Oldtusk today. He is interested in a group as well. Right level for us. That makes two guards and a warden so far. Obviously, we need heals of some kind.

What days will be best for you all? He thought Friday would work for him. I am already in a group on Friday. What about you Cirthalon?

Oldtusk

Two choices are offered...First Hildinson, Cirthalon and Oldtusk plus others perhaps one night a week of our chosing or we could roll again and join Dursana in her adventures? what do every one think? do you fancy rerolling Cirthalon?

The third one is that we help Dursana at the appropriate moment like in Dol Dinen or Nan Wathren and Evendim for the fellowship quests and then she will have reach our levels? in any event Im up for a fellowship!

As for the day..Im sorry to have hasted but friday is no good I remembered I had just signed up for curling (tuesday and friday) which will start in 2 weeks, and thursday will be archery a bit later on, gee my schedule is getting full AHHHH...therefore the days left for me is Monday, Wednesday or Sunday!

So any of those day would be good and if by any chance it is not convenient then I shall pass.
But it is ok...I'll be around anyhow.

I can play Sunday, at virtually any time (except too early; party the night before)

Next week I can play any night, but some nights I'll have to start a bit later (~7:30pm).

I see two groups forming:
one of low levels (for now) that will play tentatively on WEDNESDAYS including:
Drusana HUN -13
Bruthor CAPT-15
Hildin RNK-14
Nimineth CHAMP-12

Obviously we could use two more. What do you think? We could easily add a guard &/or a minnie, and/or a warden?
I propose the name REMMIRATH for the group.
Info about it taken from:
http://valarguild.org/varda/Tolkien/encyc/stars.html

(Pleiades)
The Remmirath is a constellation mentioned in the Fellowship of the Ring created by a gathering of old stars by Varda. The Remmirath and the red star Borgil rose before Menelvagor/Menelmacar/Orion.
name.

Perhaps Cirthalon could create another low level character.

Bruthor can't normally make Wednesdays. He came late last night because I did not go to EMS practice and concert on Elendilmir. Sundays seems to be my open day for regular questing.

Look at the post below for a list of the lower level group.

For group with Cirthalon which will meet on SUNDAYS we have: Arbadan 42 HUN
Macalaure 42 MIN
Cirthalon 39 WARD
Hildinson 38 GUARD

Soorin is another possibility as he is a 43 GUARD.

I propose we name ourselves MENELVAGOR
which is the Elvish name for Orion
I am quoting from the website below for the info on the name:

http://valarguild.org/varda/Tolkien/encyc/stars.html

In the Fellowship of the Ring, Menelvagor rises after the Remmirath and after Borgil. It is described as "the Swordsman of the Sky, Menelvagor with his shining belt". As it rose, Gildor and the other elves who were escorting the hobbits burst into song, lit a fire, and said it was time for speech and merriment.
In the Silmarillion, Menelmacar is called the Swordsman of the Sky "with his shining belt, that forebodes the Last Battle that shall be at the end of days."

And I didn't realize Bruthor was stealing time from another project to be with us. So what do you think about his suggestion to create another low level to play with us Cirthalon?

I could sometimes do the low-level group, but probably not every week. I already have a few 10-ish characters, including a loremaster, rune-keeper, and a minstrel.

Oh I meant I could do the low-level group in addition to our mid-level (30's-40's) group

The name Menelvagor has a long history with some of us - wear it proudly!

I would prefer another name myself, Menelvagor was the very popular and active group we had on Elendilmir. How about:

Valaróma - The fabled hunting-horn of Oromë, the Huntsman of the Valar.
Elerrína - One of the many names for the immensely tall mountain better known as Taniquetil, the highest of all the World's peaks. It stood among the Pelóri, the guardian range of Aman. The name Elerrína (meaning 'Crowned with Stars') was perhaps simply inspired by the height of its summit. It might also refer by association to Varda, the Kindler of the stars, who dwelt on Elerrína's peak with Manwë the Elder King.
Malinalda or Culúrien - Two of the many Elvish names given to the Golden Tree Laurelin.
Ezellohar or Corollairë - The Green Mound before the western gates of Valmar where Laurelin and Telperion grew.

OR for stars we could have:
Elemmírë - One of the lights kindled by Varda to welcome the Elves to Arda on their awakening. It is described in The Silmarillion as a star, and its name means 'star-jewel', but in fact it was most likely identified with one of the planets. Tolkien's notes appear to identify Elemmírë as the planet we know today as Mercury.
Carnil - A red star created by Varda in preparation for the coming of the Elves, probably the planet Mars.
Luinil - Its identity is uncertain, though the fact that its name contains the Elvish word luin, meaning 'blue', does offer a clue. It might be blue Rigel in Orion, making Luinil the mate of red Borgil. Two other possibilities - based purely on the fact that they are both bright blue stars - would be Spica in Virgo or Regulus in Leo.
Nénar - Another one of the stars of Varda
Soronúmë - One of the constellations that Varda traced in the sky with the dews of Telperion, before the Awakening of the Elves. Its name, which means 'eagle of the west' suggests a connection with the stars we know today as Aquila.
Telumendil - One of the constellations devised by Varda to anticipate the awakening of the Elves into the World. Its name apparently contains the word telume, referring to the dome of the sky, so Telumendil means 'friend of the dome of the heavens'. It is not known for sure which modern constellation corresponds to Telumendil.
Wilwarin - One of the many bright stars and constellations placed in the heavens by Varda to welcome the Elves into Arda. The name Wilwarin means 'butterfly', though it isn't clear which of today's constellations corresponded to this ancient star-pattern.

Of Macalaure's suggestions, I prefer the following for the sake of their beautiful pronunciation:

Elemmírë
Soronúmë
