I (Turwyn) finally joined the boards here! I am game to adventure this eve if others are. We have early, long day on Saturday; thus, probably not able to stay up too late tomorrow night.

The Twisted Heart

Longbough will join us in the battle to destroy both Heart-rot and the Huorn known as the Twisted Heart.

Anarrima needs to escort Longbough safely through the area. We will be facing multiple enemies and several elites at once. Willagifu can help keep the crowd under control so be careful with AOE or skills that might break mezzes.

A little ways past the attacking groups we enter that small path that leads down to the roots of the tree. There are two things we have to do here. Longbough will walk down the path to the three large roots sticking out of the water. Attack and defeat these and Longbough will move into the water and tell us to continue back up the path. Here is the tricky part. Heart-Rot is up there now, but he can't be killed until you destroy the Twisted Heart tree. It is granting him a regeneration buff that will allow him to regenerate 1500 Morale a tic. No amount of damage we can do will be able to even make a dent.

What we need to do here is two things. Longbough will remain in place so if we have a spare tank leave him with Longbough while the rest of us ascends the path to the northwest. We will encounter Heart-Rot who will attack us, but we must ignore him. We continue up the trail until we see a large tree called the Twisted Heart. Attack the tree, but after we deal about 33% damage the tree becomes un-attackable. At this point we must run back to Longbough. The three roots from earlier will have returned and we need to destroy them again before the tree up top can be attacked further. We will need to do this two more times. Each time the tree becomes un-attackable get back to Longbough quickly. Once the tree has been destroyed, Heart-Rot's super regen buff will drop and we can fight him the same way as the first time and he will be down in no time.

Alassante, Turwyn & Kio completed a few quests in Ram Duath. We had success in many but failed on the leader of the bat women and decided against the evil hillmen leaders until we had a fuller group. We finished out the night with some Trollshaws quests.

For any Anarrima players who wish, be in Esteldin on Friday night earlier, maybe at 8 EDT? If we don't get enough for Ram Duath we'll hit the Trollshaws again until enough 40s are on to go back.

This is a good idea. Last night I was unable to play but I do know we were working on the Earth Kin quests on the way to Aughaire and on the quests in Evendim. Lately when we don't have the full group working together we have been working on deeds.

How did this Tuesday night work out anyone?

Anarrima at 8 EDT worked out positive for 4 of us, so we plan to keep trying Friday's at 8. Tuesadys will still be at 9 EDT for the time being. Please note any kin in the 35-45 range are always welcome to join us: consider yourself invited and warmly welcomed.

Legendary Books were purchased and we all traveled to Rivendell to initiate the page finding.
most of us found 2-3 pages for each book over the evening.

Quest log:

Ram Duath, at the (Rhuta Lemma camp):
Fruits, bat women, Queen of the Bat Women, Seige engines, Orcs, Iron Crown Hillman Captain, Auroch skull

Esteldin / Dol Dinen:
Padonka the Seige Master

Deeds:
Lone Lands Exploration (Tumat)
Lhema camps (Kar Lak)

For Tuesday August 2nd: meet in Misty Mountains Gloin's camp at 9ish

Last week we had an interesting electrical issue that deepened our dissatisfaction with our current rental. As a result, last week I wound up scouring the area for a new place to live as well as dealing with workers tromping in and out of the house.

The good news is that we'll be moving to a much nicer place next week, and the internet there should be up and running on the 9th.

The bad news is that I'll likely have no free time to try to catch up to the group since I'll be packing and taking care of last minute moving details. However, I still plan to join the group and lend my services. I can catch up after we've moved and my schedule works its way back to normal.

I look forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday.

All my apologies for last night. A thunderbolt hit so close to the store that I screamed, the lights flickered and the dog peed in the floor from fright. I unplugged everything and waited until I could walk home without being struck by lightning. No damage is the wonder of it all.

*bows deeply*

Tuesday's Anarrima grouping in Misty Mountains was devoted to catching Alassante up on the goblin killing quest and the 3 mammoths. The entire gang tried to get the Legendary pages dropped for #5 - #8.
Discussions were had over going to Angmar next as a side trip just to get pages #1-#4 adn complete some of our legendaries. We'll probably plan to do this next session.

Turwyn & I have a special astronomy festival at the winery this evening, Wine & Moonbeams, so we'll be unable to attend Anarrima this evening unless it's overcast.

Ok, I don't need to talk about packing anymore. However...unpacking, well, that's a different story.

*looks around at a few hillocks of boxes while shouting over her shoulder to her nearby hubby who's got headphones on while he watches Hulu*
"Remind me why I love collecting comics again?"
*moves another heavy long to a shelving unit before deciding it's time for a snack*

Finally caught up on rest, bruises are fading (Despite years of ballet training, I am a klutz), and I'm raring to go tonight. Hopefully the storm that should be hitting right when I need to log on will be less on the lightning and more on the thunder.

I have no idea why, but "removalist" makes me chuckle everytime I read it. Hope that went smoothly!
