We have started an informal fellowship called Anarrima. In the old Gathering of Laurelin tradition of "luminaries", Kio & Turwyn invite any an all interested to join them at leveling in the Typically Tuesday nights after 9pm Eastern & Friday nights after 8pm Eastern While Tolkien was non-exact on the name Anarrima signifying the constellation of Crown or Pegasus, we have chosen the constellation Pegasus for this roleplay. The constellation guides us, and Kio & Turwyn name their horses after it's stars, tool it's patterns into their barding, etc... When Macalaure discovered their attachment to those stars he enthralled them with elvish tales of them, and Kio & Turwyn often beg Gloros and other elves to tell them the tales over and over again. The Anarrima fellowship favors game-play over role-play, but encourages both. Please note we are not trying to "power level" our way though the quests, nor walk slowly roleplaying, but somewhere in between. Completing quests efficiently while creating enough fertile roleplay ground to become distracted for a bit on one another's family or feelings or history to cement the bonds between characters would be the ideal. Learning how to support each other with our different skills is crucial to our enjoyment. Long term we'ed like to develop into a far deeper roleplay, but we shall see how such dreams unfold. Voice used for game communication, text used for game roleplaying High levels welcome, but having a 65 always massacre the quest for us removes the flavor and joy. Hold back wise mentors! My sword and shield are at your service! I have always been enamored with Anarrima in the night sky and wish to be her guardian, and yours as well. |

Ah, the memories of walking along a darkling shore beneath the diamonds of Annarima crowning the restless sea! But I forget myself and have the honor to speak for two of my kindred, Alassante, who studies song and healing. as well as Noloth whose interests lie in deep lore. Both have expressed their delight and willingness to accompany the fellowship of Annarima in their adventures and songs and stories. ((So our reckless minstrel Alassante, lvl 23 and the more judicious loremaster Noloth, lvl 26 are at your service.)) |

Anarrima suggestions for 3/30 listening / dancing or crafting / deeds till Greenhill Music Society music is over looking to quickly move through the Amon Ros spider series, then across the road to Ost Cyrn orcs. If time/desire we can move to Harloeg trolls/wights series and maybe finish that off Thursday night if anyone is interested & available. Hopeful for Friday to be Book work; Haragmar, Nan Dhelu & Agamaur's Red Maid. As always, Rule #1 is fun. These notes are an attempt to give us starting points and focus, not to dictate what we do. The group decides what we do, and we are free to change plans to whatever strikes everyone's fancy. Edited by kio, Mar 30 2010, 06:19 AM.

Kio, Turwyn, Issel and I met spontaneously on Monday and finished all the quests at the Forsaken Inn and those at a cavern that a dwarf gave us. I had never been in that cavern but there were orcs and dourhands in there! Between all of us we made short work of them all, even the leaders. We went to Ost Guruth to see what they had for us to do there but no tasks were started. Later Issel and I went to the North Downs and got a bit bloodthirsty when we met up with Arbrandir. The three of us killed every orc and bird we could find and also killed some bears, wargs and orcs up in a place called Fornost until Issel got stronger. We decided to retire and train before heading back out to Ost Guruth for tonight's fun. |

I am having some serious problems staying online. My modem keeps loosing the DSL sync. I know this is a problem at the phone company. They have been working on it today but now that everyone goes home it still is not working correctly. I unplugged my phone so I didn't get interference, changed my line filter, reset my modem and hub, restarted etc. Everything I could do but to no avail. It keeps coming in for a minute or two then shutting DSL down. I am just biding my time until it stays solid for awhile. My grandson is here too and he is/was in game too. We are both frustrated, I was in music testing and he was in a skirmish. I am posting this to let you know I am having trouble but I hope it won't be all night. Now I have to wait for the internet to come back on so it will post. Edit: At about 7:45 my time the DSL connection got stable so I came into the game and started questing with Anarrima (Kio, Turwyn and Alassante) We finished all the quests with the spiders (I think there were four of them) and did the ones over across the road from Ost Guruth in the Orc fortress, killed the tough orc too. We turned those in and got the next batch but Turwyn was tired so we stopped the quest lines there. She logged off and Kio, Alassante and I rode to Thorenhad and Rivendell for the stables there. It was a lot of fun! Next Friday (Saturday for Arbrandir) we will once again quest together. Watch the calendar. Edited by Gloros, Mar 30 2010, 09:26 PM.

Yes, 4 spider quests originating in Ost Guruth, the "Master of the Lash" orc series across the road in Ost Cyrn. We also did the "Sweet Water" quest near the bridge and boar parts, both received up on Dol Vaeg (sp?) hilltop near the wight city of Dhelu. We have music tonight, but Thursday night we can help Arbrandir on these and Turwyn on the water/boars. If others get on we shall see about more perhaps. Edited by kio, Mar 31 2010, 04:52 AM.

Not to far behind you, the spiders were troublesome and the orcs just down right annoying. Heading on to Dol Vaeg (if thats not how you spell it it is now!) and will press on....It doesnt look like ill make Sat/Fri meet which im really annoyed about. Due to long weekend my boss has me starting early....If anything changes ill be there, if not push on and ill follow in your wake....

NONE OF US WISH TO LEAVE ARBRANDR BEHIND, but we wanted to keep playing too. So have all volunteered to come replay any quest series to help. Thursday night we finished most of the Lone-Lands and Dhelu quests, and moved to Esteldin. We passed on the swamp trolls for now until our champion was ready. Friday we'll begin Esteldin quests. The Rivendell ride is a pure RP segment for Kio & Turwyn's story. I liked Arbrandr's new portion a lot. We'll see how it develops after Easter. Edited by kio, Apr 1 2010, 08:27 PM.

Given the wonderful weather (92 tomorrow!) and spring break, we have decided to take Tura to the NC Zoo tomorrow. No, not the herald Tura. Apologies, but I doubt we will make tomorrow evening's Anarrima adventure. |

If I may be so bold to offer a motto (it could be one among many) for our group. Let no elf or dwarf or man or hobbit be left behind! I'll always be glad to repeat quests so that we are running on the same page.

Should we change the days the group gets together? Tuesdays and Thursdays maybe? I have so much fun with you all! I also have another person who is interested in joining us for roleplay and questing at our level. It should give us a complete group. |

Let's talk about it. If one day is easier than another for most folks we should shift to accommodate. Wednesday nights are probably the only night we have routine commitments, but most Saturday nights over the summer we will be working and unable to attend much (or stay awake if we got on late) |

We've done many of the Esteldin quests, currently in the middle of the Hillmen quests and done the one book quest for Trestlebridge. Any plans for Tuesday? |

We can work on the books if Arbrandir is counted amongst us; finish up Dori & the dwarves, then up the long ramps to the orc chief to finish the elvish portion? I've never done any book quests beyond those, nor has a character of mine ever entered Fornost. Turwyn has discovered the "Ranger island" (Tinnudir) and likes that area a lot, so that is also a great option for us if we want to finish up the hillmen and then start on something new besides books. Always eager to hear what others would like to do and pursue the groups desires. Note: sell, clear packs, train, etc prior to Anarrima time. We have to get up awful early in May ando work the vineyards hard, so lets make the most of the 9 - 12 time frame as we can please! |

I agree, lets be ready to roll at 9! I think Tinnudir is possibly too high level for us, can't remember, but its beautiful there. We could start in Oatbarton though, I think those quests are in the mid-30s. Cotumo can check before we head in there. Edit: I was wrong, the level of the enemy there is 33 to 37 or so. Would be a great new quest area! Edited by Gloros, May 4 2010, 08:18 AM.

I know Issel is travelling in the US and may not have a connection. I was in and out of game for awhile but did not feel good and mostly read a book. I hope my not being there did not hold you both back. It must be terrible to go into battle without my protection! I am looking forward to Thursday or Friday night.
