Post what you know and I'll post what I find out. we can also talk about what we think might happen.

Christopher Paolini released his latest Alagaesia newsletter today, officially announcing Book 4 (the final book in the Inheritance Cycle) as being underway!

Cool! I think Eragon will find a way to break Galbatorix's hold on Murtagh. In my opinion, Paolini seems to sympathize with Murtagh, so I don't think he'll kill him off. (at least I hope not)

I could never really get into the second book, so I don't really have an opinion on it. I do know that it stole borrowed several names from Star Wars and LOTR, and even the plot of one of the books is similar to The Empire Strikes Back.

It's kind of hard not to be influenced by something else these days. So much has already been done. Something completely new is quite a rarity. If you watch South Park, just think of the "Simpsons did it" episode.

That is a good point picklegod.

But lets talk about who we think the Third Rider will be. Now I think it's going to be Arya but I think that who he want us to think. I think it would be kool if it was a new character. What do you guys think?

I'd like a new character. A dwarf rider would be especially cool, like Orik. I know dwarves aren't part of the agreement between humans, dragons, and elves, but I still think it would be cool. I suppose Roran could be a possibility. No one stands out to me though.

Orik cant because he's the new dwarf king and I think Roran would be a kool idea but i really like the idea of a new character

True, it'd still make me happy though. I'm curious as to what will happen with Elva. Do you think she'll betray the Varden?

I'm not sure I don't think so but then it was Eragon who made her who she is. She my just chose not to help them instead.
