Post what you know and I'll post what I find out. we can also talk about what we think might happen. Christopher Paolini released his latest Alagaesia newsletter today, officially announcing Book 4 (the final book in the Inheritance Cycle) as being underway! |

Cool! I think Eragon will find a way to break Galbatorix's hold on Murtagh. In my opinion, Paolini seems to sympathize with Murtagh, so I don't think he'll kill him off. (at least I hope not) |

I could never really get into the second book, so I don't really have an opinion on it. I do know that it |

It's kind of hard not to be influenced by something else these days. So much has already been done. Something completely new is quite a rarity. If you watch South Park, just think of the "Simpsons did it" episode. |

That is a good point picklegod. But lets talk about who we think the Third Rider will be. Now I think it's going to be Arya but I think that who he want us to think. I think it would be kool if it was a new character. What do you guys think? |

I'd like a new character. A dwarf rider would be especially cool, like Orik. I know dwarves aren't part of the agreement between humans, dragons, and elves, but I still think it would be cool. I suppose Roran could be a possibility. No one stands out to me though. |

True, it'd still make me happy though. I'm curious as to what will happen with Elva. Do you think she'll betray the Varden? |

I'm not sure I don't think so but then it was Eragon who made her who she is. She my just chose not to help them instead. |
