Greetings and well met cousins.

You may have received a letter from me suggesting that those of the kin able to do so set aside some time on a Tuesday evening to meet in the enclave of Duillond. I want to take this opportunity to expand on my thinking and explain why I believe this to be important to our kin.

My intention is that this be an informal opportunity for many of us - and other of the Alliance - to meet face to face and a regular basis. Such meetings cement the bonds of friendship that make our kin what it is. It may be that we also hold certain events - crafting fayres, hunts, quests and story telling - at the same time so that it becomes a regular entry in all of our diaries.

I do realise that no single night can suit all members of the kin so I do not suggest we mandate that events occur on a Tuesday. Indeed, if it turns out that there is another night more suitable to the majority then we should use that night instead.

Whilst I have no intention of suggesting that this be a mandatory meeting I would ask all cousins who are in the land on a Tuesday evening to attempt to spend some time in Duillond to meet with your cousins.

If any of you have ideas of what you would like to see in terms of clan events please make your voices heard here.

May the light guide all your steps,

Taramthir

Well, the informal Tuesday gatherings have not really worked... time is precious to all of us I know.

The communication channels open to the Kin mean we may not always need to meet face-to-face but I would welcome the input of some of our newer members as toi the type of gatherings they would like to see.
