Canada had some B players in. But USA played a lot of B players, including Leroux who I think only had one cap prior and still managed a 13-0 win. I will be interested to see how Canada's next match goes. |

hi, i'm a canadian soccer fan and i cry when the best team in the world is too good and scores too many goals. i also cry when they are happy about scoring. i also cry when a young rising superstar chooses to be on the best team in the world instead of a team that's never won anything. i boo her and call her a traitor and then call fans of the best team in the world classless. yay! |

I feel so bad for Sinclair She's obviously an excellent player but stuck with a less than average team. I know she wants to do so much for her country, so let's root for Canada to go as far as possible!

I have no doubt that by the time Christine Sinclair finishes her career she will be all time top women's scorer. |

Sinc scored two last night against Costa Rica and had a great assist to Kaylyn Kyle. I like that she's taking on more of a playmaking role now although now it just seems like even more of the attack goes through her. But why not since they have this great resource in a quality player like Sinclair. The attack should go through her. They can figure out what to do without her when she retires which won't be for years.![]() ![]() Haha her tongue. |

okay unpopular opinion maybe, but i think sinclair would get more attention if she were more conventionally attractive. i mean i think shes attractive but she doesn't have like a model's face if you know what i mean. thats more on society or whatever than on her though but its not like she doesn't have a great personality and shes obviously a great player so she should get more attention in womens soccer. and maybe its also that she plays for canada (not trying to hate its just true that soccer doesn't get as much attention in canada and especially not the womens side) but idk, i think definitely a chunk of it is because shes not ~good looking~ or whatever. *i* think shes good looking. |
