thank god skeletonwitch was as good as advertised because i am DONE with iron age. 2 shows in a row they've been too fucked up to play and last night was literally a jury-level train wreck. its one thing when you're too drunk to play WELL. its another thing when you're too drunk to play at all. |

Yea for real. 3 fucking songs until the guitarist knocked his beer over onto his amp and it started smoking on top of a 45 minute sound check. |

The NYC was supposedly good. I'm not to into the new stuff that my pal played me(I guess its the new LP). the other stuff had more of an older feel to it(Leeway maybe?). |

seen iron age now 5 or 6 times. longest set ive ever seen was at the lz. their sets are always ball breaking but thursday was bummer enough to see that it got moved upstairs let alone them playing 3 fucking songs. they need to ditch that mike robbins doppelganger on the side of the road somewhere and find a new guitarist. |

Yeah this band has sucked majorly the last time i saw them. Was digging the Sleeping Eye LP when I first heard it but seeing those songs live is painful. That dude that sings is a total "cheesedick" |

constant struggle just sounded like cromags mixed w/ leeway and was awesome. i like sleeping eye but its very hit or miss live. thought they were awesome in TX and the last time i saw them in NYC but theres always a very real chance of a shitshow pretty much every time now |
