confirmed Letting go of another good but under-performing player in Lundqvist. I don't care if I won or lost this one. Lundqvist wasn't playing well enough to justify a 6+M cap hit and I needed a changeup on D. Hopefully I have enough defensive depth now that one of Crawford, Neuvirth, or Holtby can step up and take the starting job. |

Looks like a good deal for both sides, both sides get what they wanted in a #1 goaltender, and young defensive pieces. |
