man ur makin me look bad with this tut lol,awesome,never knew of that inset tool,i use the old fashioned extrude,scale and move option

another way to do pipes is too draw a line and use loft thing but does this affect your model like boolean ?

this is wut I was talking about I used Boolean to cut a hole and look the white spots they weren't there before :huh: how can I solve this ?
btw I've modeled the exhaust :hehe:

lol, you didn't ask that :blink:

that's one of the side effects when used on certain objects, you need to localize and weld the extra verts that were created when you cut the hole then use the smooth modifier on those polys - but why did you cut a hole? if anything, I would suggest deleting the muffler polys and creating a simple cylinder in it's place - also, remember to only use boolean on separate objects, if you use it on piece that has several parts attached, the possibility of it fuckn off the mesh is high

kk about the hole I made it on another pardt of the chassis not when I modeled the exhaust ;)
