The Crew game

Saw that Ubisoft Reflections has teamed up with Ivory Tower and making a new racing game called "The Crew". Its for PS4, Xbox One AND PC and will be out early 2014. So Is this going to be a great game? First look gives me some weird thought and Im thinking F&F 6 the game. And that is not a good sign.
Cars look a bit cartoonish and some 7 year old meshes has been used from some frewe 3d site (might even be ripped from GTA?).

Here is some more info:
Trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d4JnshyKOOQ
Site: http://thecrew-game.ubi.com/portal/en-US/home/
and gameplay: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s-ZDcdtPnVk

There are some cool cars but they need some work to look good:
CHEVROLET
Camaro RS 1969
Camaro SS 2010

FORD
Mustang GT 2011
Focus RS 2010

NISSAN
Skyline GT-R (R34)

RUF
3400 K

But I have also seen cars like Shelby Mustang 1967, Dodge Charger 1970 or something, Challenger and I even saw a Impala 1967 (a car I myself converted and helped make to GTAsa some 5 years ago). wonder if its the same car?
So, what do you think? As I said, Cars look stolen :fuq:

Seems to be a Co-op game, nice!
Open world? Cars with 3d engines.. this is just getting better and better.
Also, I highly doubt Ubisoft is going to steal cars or models, besides, a Camaro is a Camaro, one model can look exactly as another, lol.

I really don't care about graphics as much as gameplay. And this game looks promising with the gameplay hopefully if that's not just a trailer. Graphics will make you enjoy the game for a couple of months while a gameplay will make you stick to it forever.

Nah.....

still looking for a game like MC:3 and this is not what i want from what i saw, more like NFS with co-op mode on, and the open world, like u are doing nothing but side-seeing in NFS:MW2012
3D chassis is cool, but Im more into "free-style racing", breaking through malls for shot cuts like a pro man :D
Without those stupid "arrow walls" thing

Haha, I said that out of sarcasm because they don't look as good as any new game or even as good as forza 3 cars and that was like 5 years ago. Oh I forgot, that Impala 1967 is a four door so its not stolen.
I think Ivory Tower was those who made Test Drive unlimited?
but you have to agree that the Camaro RS 1969 looks a bit handmade and not scanned like the Forza model.

Again, what makes you say that? The available sources are just some vids and screenshots. How are you able to quickly determine they look bad etcetc

Ubisoft must have seen the last couple of EA racing game trailers and read the comments about lack of customization :D They're basking in all those "We want NFSU3" fanboys. Good Move right there!

Why are you all going Suicide Mary on a game that's not even released yet and never played yet? :suicide:

Firts impression gives a great deal on how we feel for a game. Ponting out flaws might even get to the developers and they might change it to the better. My first feeling when I saw them sliding in the curve was "not another ridge racer". it is still one year in the making but remember, they have been working on this since 2007 when ivory towers was put founded by various race developers. And the flat nosed camaro they have, I know I've seen it before. Oh right midnight club LA.

Slyde, the Z/28 and SS are exactly the same in Forza and they shouldn't be. Also, the taillights are squared. I had a conversion project of it long ago but I quit it when I found out about this.
