In Max: select the object(s) and press the scale button (hover the toolbar buttons to see what they do), then just use the arrows of the object. See, when hovering over those arrows (which you use for moving and else, too) different diagonal areas light up. Play with it to learn which area scales in what direction, when all three inner areas light up in perspective view, all directions (XYZ) will be scaled.

so.. your keyboard doesn't have a Delete key then? o.0 wtf?

anyway, top of UI, edit+delete -or- simply press the delete button in your modifier CP -or- right click in a viewport and select delete - there, I just gave you four ways to do it

jesus.. if this is what we gotta go thru just to delete something, I think you should uninstall

IMMEDIATELY

I didn't think he did.. but I would think most keyboards would be universal as far as their tools are concerned - so what does SUPR translate into?

dunno..its in his language
on a french azerty you usually have SUPPR that commes from SUPPRIMER meaning DELETE
italian ones have CANC that comes from CANCELARE meaning DELETE also...
so yeah, he must hit SUPR to delete the wanted polys
