Let's put a smile on that face son.

Nice work vlady, but why don't you put a rubber texture or some kinda cloth texture?

its a Race car. not a production car for you to have a cloth texture on the boot. It only adds unwanted weight and can also catch fire incase of an accident which is why most race cars dont even come with a covered boot. You can clearly see the chassis frame and a spare wheel at the back

Tweaked the original rear underbumper and textured it with a custom texture (bmw 3 series from GRiD + Corvette C5 from GRiD + my PS skills) LOL also textured the exhaust muffler with an edited J2 texture :p
Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image
Since I started working on this car my mapping, car mechanics and PS skills improved a lot more than my modeling skills :lol:

@Discount: what nm already said
@Alex I love the 3rd picture, will you share the bigger version, it would look cool on my phone :2cool:

Still having some turbosmooth errors,and used shell,so those won't be a problem in the end.

Your model is inacurate,l it seems broken in 2 halfs in the area of B pillar
In reality that line is a lot smoother pic
____________
tiny progress on my side:
imported the motec/stwheel from GTR
got the wipers from FM3 and made them fit
got a new bonnet texture from GRiD
modeled a lot of "otherhalfs" on interior (who worked with GRID or GTR interiors knows what I mean)
also fixed a couple mapping bugs I had
added a easteregg :hehe:
