qwerty from XeNTaX found out that some game files can be decrypted with the old tdudec tool from aluigi. Among them are the .cpr files found in the root folder of the game. To decrypt them, use this command
After you're done with the modifications you have to encrypt them back
Here you can download the tool along with 2 cmd files that will automatically decrypt/encrypt all .cpr files. Don't forget to make backups! WARNING! the game launcher checks all files and if any are different it will download the latest versions. You have two options, either block the launcher with your firewall, or replace the original .cpr files with the ones you modify AFTER you start the launcher. There's some neat stuff inside, filenames are pretty much self-explanatory. GamePC.cpr can be used for cheating, by modifying things like ![]() P.S. If you look closely some lines mention Lamborghini cars. Maybe they are leftovers, but maybe they're for a future DLC... P.S.2 One other line caught my attention: //AddLevel= "Dubai" ![]() Here's a list of things you can do. I will add more as soon as I test them. WARNING: the forum won't accept tab-spaces so I replaced them with normal spaces. Just search for the first part of the line to find it. SystemPC.cpr 1. Disable the intro movie Find SetMovie = ON and replace with SetMovie = OFF GamePC.cpr 1. Show all locations on the map (dealers, shops, events) Find //MYNAMEISHUGUESOICANSEEALLCARS and repalce with MYNAMEISHUGUESOICANSEEALLCARS 2. Unlock all roads - allows you to teleport on any road but it won't change completion percentage of Discovery objective. Find //UnlockAllRoads TRUE and change into UnlockAllRoads TRUE 3. Teleport anywhere (not just on roads), for example on the old secret island from TDU1 (thanks VladyF) Find //FREETELEPORT and change into FREETELEPORT 4. Disable the blur effect applied on spinning wheels Find MV_RADIAL_BLUR = 1 and rchange into MV_RADIAL_BLUR = 0 5. Force weather conditions. It seems that the comments left by developers are deprecated. Here's an updated list of all weather conditions Find FORCED_OFFLINE_WEATHER = 0 and replace 0 with one of the following: 0 = sunny with a clear sky 1 = sunny with a few clouds 2 = rainny without FX (thunder & lightning) 3 = storm clouds 4 = after rain (wet roads) 5 = rain with thunder and lightning 6. Disable traffic cars (the ones which you bump into at high speeds )Find TrafficMaxCount = 8 and change into TrafficMaxCount = 0 7. Set the number of chasing police cars, or disable them Find PoliceMaxCount = 7 and change into PoliceMaxCount = 0 8. Disable traffic opponents (instant challenge) Find EnableBots = 1 and change into EnableBots = 0 9. Disable the annoying hints the game gives you when you start a new profile Find TUTORIAL = ON and replace with TUTORIAL = OFF 10. Disable the intro tutorial (character selection, dream, race to studio) - basically you just wake up in your house with car/cars in your garage (both house and cars are defined bellow). Note you will also be left with no cash whatsoever, zilch, nada, nothing. Find SCENARIOTUTORIAL = ON and change into SCENARIOTUTORIAL = OFF Note: All following cheats work after you create a new game profile and they need the intro tutorial deactivated. 11. Get all houses and travel between islands (without reaching lvl10) Find //DEMOPRESS and replace with DEMOPRESS Update: this one also works without disableing the intro tutorial, but you still need to create a new profie 12. Spawn cars in all houses (use in conjunction with the previous cheat) Find AllHousesWithDefCars FALSE and replace with AllHousesWithDefCars TRUE 13. Set the default house when you start a game - only works if you disable the intro tutorial For Ibiza, find DefaultHouse "EPH_L2E_0345I" and replace with Ibiza house IDs For Hawaii it's the next line DefaultHouse2 "EPH_L4F_6361" Hawaii house IDs 14. Set which car/cars to spawn in garage (set by the previous cheat) - only works if the intro tutorial is deactivated, after creating a new profile. You can set more than one but the game will only load as much as the garage can hold For Ibiza, find DefaultGarageConfig 379 //204 317 313 310 244 298 and replace 379 with one or more car ID's (you can delete the part that starts with //, it's commented out anyway) For Hawaii it's the next line DefaultGarageConfig2 326 379 371 348 383 117 370 car IDs Spawning the following cars creates the "Lancia with purple wheels" bug. At some point VladyF was talking about a hidden car in TDU1 created for compatibility between a DLC savegame and a non-DLC game. I think this is the same thing in TDU2... Most of them do have have names and specs, indicating possible DLC cars. Unlisted cars 15. Change the color, transparency and width of road markings in both hud and map.. Navigate to the end of your GamePC.cpr file and you'll find a section called [HudMap]. Each type of road (highway, offroad, circuit...) has its own set of lines. Everything is pretty obvious if you have some basic experience with image editing, but let's look at some lines just in case. // AIRL_HIGHWAY = 0 - only a comment that tells you the road type, in this case highway SET_HUDMAP_ROAD_COLOR_LOCKED 0 140 140 140 255 - this defines the marker for locked roads 1st number is an identifier that lets the game know what type of road it is 2nd number controls the amount of red 3rd is for green 4th is for blue 5th number sets transparency, 255 for opaque and 0 for fully transparent SET_HUDMAP_ROAD_COLOR_UNLOCKED 0 29 180 215 255 - same thing only for unlocked roads SET_HUDMAP_ROAD_WIDTH 0 4 // Min Width : 1, Max Width : 8 - this sets the marker width for this type of road (both locked and unlocked); the comment pretty much explains everything Next you will find 6 more sets of lines for SECONDARY_HIGHWAY, ROAD, OFFROAD, CIRCUIT, WIP and TUNNEL. They work just the same. SET_HUDMAP_TRACE_COLOR 254 216 197 200 - defines that smaller marker that shows your current path; it's especially visible when you deviate from the road It has no identifier, just settings for red, green, blue and transparency. SET_HUDMAP_TRACE_WIDTH 2 - sets the width Last we have the settings for your GPS route. They work just like the previous example. SET_HUDMAP_GPSPATH_COLOR 255 102 0 255 SET_HUDMAP_GPSPATH_WIDTH 5 This trick is especially useful if you're attempting to discover all roads. You will sometimes get stuck at 99% because you left a tiny tiny bit of road uncovered, and finding it is like looking for a needle in a hey stack. Just change the color of all unlocked roads to 255 0 0 and it will show up as red; you could also set all unlocked markers transparent to make it even easier. Or if you want, change colors and transparency just for the fun of it ![]() 15. $39.99 screensaver ![]() Here's a way to make your car drive by itself while you kick back an relax listening to all the great songs this game has on the radio ![]() Find this line //FULL_ROAD_INSPECTION "InspectionIbiza/"6 1 and uncomment it (remove the two slashes //). The comments left above it by devs pretty much explain everything. You don't have to use a start_indice in the syntax, the game seems to stat from a predefined location if you leave it blank. One potential good use for this is to discover all roads, but I don't know if the car drives randomly, on a few predefined roads, or on all roads. |

If you try to spawn an unlisted car you get the Lancia with purple wheels mesh which may crash your game when you load the map. It's interesting to note that most of them have listed speed, accel, brake... and different suspension height or axel track. This most likely indicates that the game already has their specs and just needs the rest to be added via DLC. Just add 4 car IDs separated by spaces. Note that everything preceded by two slashes (//) is commented out so you don't need it. Here's how your line should look like: DefaultGarageConfig 661 651 650 370 |

@Kot Yes I have and it works. Even if you set 8 cars in a house with only 2 slots the game won't crash, it just ignores the rest. You probably set a Hawaiian house in Ibiza or vice-versa, that's the only time I experienced crashes. A good trick to remember which house goes where: houses from Ibiza have an "I" at the end of their ID. Edited by Chipicao, Feb 22 2011, 12:11:49 AM.

@DefaultGarageConfig, is there a space between the last car ID and the two slashes? If not, add one. Btw, remove that // part, it's commented out anyway so the game doesn't need it. Edited by Chipicao, Feb 22 2011, 12:21:10 AM.
