Since ZM 224 (maybe 223, but 224 is a safe one) you can reset after scaling etc, so any scaling takes effect: - open your model. Make sure you have a main dummy where everything is linked to, usually called ****.dff if you have a sa car. - go to the "scale" section in your zmod tools - mark ONLY "Affect Children" everything else should be turned off. - then put your mouse over the main dummy in any view. - press and hold the "shift" key to scale in all 3 directions (x,y,z)at once. - click and hold left mousebutton and move. (you can also hold the "ctrl" key to while doing that to scale the model more precisely) At this point, the whole model should be scaled including all dummies, col, shadow, etc. just everything. But it's not done yet! If you export the scaled model now, it will have the same size ingame as before! - Now, click on "show all" - then go to select and select all - switch "selected mode" on - then go to "Display" -> "local axes" -> "reset to world". - Apply this first with "orientation" and AFTER that with "offset" Now you'll notice that all your dummies and col-spheres have moved to the center. So just make one undo step ("ctrl" + "z") and you're done. /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// I have searched this many times in the forums, guess its time to separate it. needs mentioned that this will only work on 224 (scale all including dummys) ..or was it 223 that this was implemented on - whichever, 223 or 224, earlier versions won't scale the dummys and mesh parts correctly |
