God. What the hell is wrong with EA? Why do they keep making the same games? Me and I'm sure a few others got bored of the track races, there's other hundred games like those. NFS was special when it was street races. I just wish they would do NFS Underground 3 or NFS Most Wanted 2.

this gives us a opportunity to make them more detailed so if did convert them we can tell that we own 50% of this car because of all the enhancements and scratch works we did to it

Or maybe anyone who enjoys high quality cars, because if the headlights (for example) are lowpoly in the original game, they will most likely be low-poly in any convert.

Kudos to any modder who will take the time to improve the mesh not just by adding details like a 3D engine or door sills, but increasing the polycount for already existing parts. Somehow I doubt we will see many of those because there's probably a massive amount of work involved...

Correctamundo! You did miss the point.
You should have read the part about converting...

BUT, to answer your question and continue this flame, YES you DO have a 360 camera in the latest NFS installments (Shift and HP).

And even if you didn't have such a camera, I was talking about things you will see 90% of the time you play (the freakin' back of the car).

Nice to see updates here too. I don't have the same opinions as what you all have though. I really hated the Underground series. I never really liked the concept of adding a lot of custom parts. The real NFS is just pure stock cars racing in the town with some pursuit. Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2010 was best NFS I've played. It just brings back old memories. On the other hand, the shift segments were different ones. I consider them as my favorites because they have the characteristics of what I consider as my perfect racing game. It doesn't matter if it is a Forza, GT, or GRID copy. NFS would always be my favorite racing game.

Don't know how you get used to play in IV Chipicao but my point is that I have 360 free camera here and if I want to see the front (hood, light) or sides or whatever else I just move mouse. If I would like to do that in f.e. nfshp10 well... it is not so easy - if I remember you don't have 360 free cam, and you cannot be so close to parts you want to see.
So if we cannot be close to them, for what they will make highpoly front lights or shiny hq threeD engine? ;) and basicly, all we can see for 90% of time as u said are car asses. You remember wrong, you do have such a cam in HP.
For the third time, I WASN'T TALKING ABOUT 3D ENGINES! I said taillights, brake lights, air vents and exhaust pipes, as in stuff that you see at the freakin' back of the car.

So what if you can see the car better or get closer to certain parts in GTA IV? If the Pagani Huayra (for example) will get converted to GTA IV, where do you think it will come from? That's right, Shift2, meaning it will be just as lowpoly in GTAIV.
