Dude.... :somns^:

Conviction is a sequel to what happened in Double Agent. If you don't know what happened in DA, there is very little chance that you know why Fisher is doing as he does in Conviction.

And i think his look is closer to what it was in the first 3 games than it was in Double Agent. IIRC Conviction's story is 5 years after the story of Double Agent.

The thing when objectives and cut-scenes appears on the walls and floors is because Ubi tried a way to keep u in control of Fisher at all times. And that includes when having those sorts of flashbacks.

And why are you whining about not having those high-tech gadget you used to have in the previous games?
In case you didn't notice, FISHER DOESN'T WORK FOR THIRD ECHELON ANYMORE. They was the ones to give him all the stuff. Now he is more or less on his own.
Besides, his gun got unlimited ammo, so why don't you just shoot the damn lights ?

Anyways, tell me what you thought of the game when you've dealt with Tom Reed.

Also, why are you using a deagle when dealing with Kobin ? SC have always been about stealth. Are you just blasting your way through ?

after completion i kinda liked the story n all.....but it still doesnt feel like SC....mainly because Fisher can now freely roam about between the civilians and mix with them..... the past SC series was always bout stayin in the dark be it against the enemy or the civilians.
+ the game for some reason laggs during cutscenes and before i entered the final mission i.e, the white house, the game had a bug where the player kept sinking down the map to his death.. and i think its fair enuf to say that this game is still bugged up..
overall-7/10

There is just one thing you don't quite understand. In Double Agent, some stuff - personal to Fisher - happened. After so, he went on to investigate further into it. And it turned out to not be a coincident but a first degree action. Therefore Fisher does what needs to be done.

But whatever happened in DA leads to what happens in Conviction. So playing Conviction before Double Agent is sorta like skipping a whole season of a tv show. there is a whole lot of story you miss out on.

/edit
Also, I've never experienced that sinking-bug :S Did you buy the game ?

The weighted companion cube? Well, its weighted.. XD
Helps to give some weight onto big switches you can't press when not standing on it, and when not standing on it, the doors you got to move through wont stay open..

Well since Flightgear is a sim, not a game, it ain't that easy, but provides tons of fun once you bite in and try it. Best is to own a good stick, I have a Saitek Cyborg X with double throttle and twist, and a customized xml for its buttons and axis and else. The keys are learned fast, and once you got it, you will see its fun. Not easy to fly with mouse and keys only, but possible as well, and FG runs on a low end PC as well, not with a high res, but its fun. On mpmap02.flightgear.org you can see all Multiplayer planes online, I have that opened always on my second monitor as a navigation help. Lately I took of from the Nimitz and flew to the grand canyon and back, a 7 hours flight with the F-14. Not easy to catch the 3rd wire on the Nimitz, that narrow thing in the middle of the ocean near San Francisco, after you have had several hours nothing but free air XD

guess which? ..the lexus or the furai? I'm really diggn FM3's rendering engine, perfect amount of reflection, accurate spec (small), it looks pretty good.. so does that farm game with the exception of reflections - tho I guess the impossible means to create an accurate matte with IV's engine has really turnd me against it.. piece of crap
