+1 excellent choice Wired, that Jag's gonna be heat for sure hope it works for ya Threep, but recalculating will make them loose their inherent smoothing.. I haven't had a problem yet with FM3 rims *knock on wood |

Nope, did not work, of course. Would have made me wonder. This is the material, its set up like many other of my tire shaders, which work w/o any problem: //Solved it: that frikkin' bump map texture has had alpha by accident. Deleted the alpha, replaced the bump map, now it works. Some impressions: Edited by Threepwood, Jun 7 2010, 12:11:58 AM.

Thx ![]() Sad news is, I am already done with it ![]() Sure I have to fix this and that and make some of the shaders better, but this car has all damaging, has all dirt mapping, has all COL, has everything done.. at least from my view ^^ I would need 1 tester, who comes first, gets first (only people which are NOT newbies to this board or people I know for longer than 1 week, bottom line: KCS residents only). |

Because some of the parts dont have a reflection or at least not much so you might see much of it? Depends on which you talk about. And wel, I am not really fast, but I luckily have some spare time days, and I can work up to 10 hours a day if I wanted to (besides working on customer things)

i meant those exhaust and rim, seems like as u said it doesn't need much reflec settings as compared to ref pics

Yeah rim got a matte (powder coated? Is that the right word?), but exhausts is one of those shader parts which still have to get a better material, same goes for the mirrors, IDKW, but they do not reflect anything but they should. |

GJ? // some new screens. Added some detail, fixed some trouble. Sadly I can't get any carcol working on the roof glass, would've been a pretty hot EPM function to tint and untint it ingame ![]() |

Just use a grey alpha texture, and add the [CLR:4] tag (I hope you use CLR:2 for the interior :P) |

No, since the whole interior is bumpmapped leather, carcol would not make much sense.. And yes, I have tried with the grey alpha texture, I have tested different alpha settings as well, but no CLR:X does work on it. |

It is bump mapped leather, and you can tweak the base texture to be white. That way, you can have both black, beige, and red interiors. as far as I know, paint3 shader supports alpha. Tried that? |
