download that microsoft shit thing. Go to bin/debug/forza3 studio.exe and run it. All i did was that, and it runs well. btw, anyone bumper into some kinda global textures? My G37 front grill would need one, but none of the texture packs had them oh. Just realised what you wrote. That stuff was a direct link, to 3.1. I installed that, and it works. well shit.. I tested an older uploaded exe (4.2 or some) and it workd np on the xna 3.5 (which I found is just an updated 3.1) but I get a UE error when trying to run Forza 3.5.10 (I also uninstalled xna 3.5 and installed xna 3.1, same error) about the global textures, they postd them @xentax, somewhere mid-point |

found globals, thanks. well.. i could do some import-exports for you, just upload the cars, i'll dl at university, and reupload asap in OBJ I got broken verts (all of them), and some flipped polies at import to Max. I have Max9 32bit

I think it's because I had Visual C# installed which uses net framework 4 so I uninstalled it and all associated shits.. hopefully I'll get it workn in a few edit- yap, got it workn ![]() I exported from Forza Studio, and imported directly into Max -with no broken verts (other than normal expectations), so the broken verts must be coming from the other I/O shits- then I reset x on the body, converted it back to editable mesh and exported it as SA.dff - imported the body to Zm and these are the results.. you can see the mesh errors in Zm- what I'm wondering is if IV would show those errors or not.. no broken verts other than what was already caused from Max import (no more broken verts than a 3dr import will produce) edit2- I imported into Max the interior .obj directly from the forza studio export, reset x, converted back to editable mesh, selected all the parts and exported as 3ds, then imported the 3ds into Zm and these are the results; no visible errors other than what was already in Max (and again, no broken verts) it's so bootifull in Max (until you start editing it lol) exported this ↑ to 3ds and ↓ imported to Zm ..but again, idk if IV would even render those errors |

idk, from what I read, the kat that's designing Forza Studio optimized it for blender/max/maya 2010 - did you go thru the.. export, then import as, then export as, then import as bullsheet or no? because the file I got from Smoke was like that (all verts broken) and to my knowledge, he did the crazy I/O thing with it.. |

Emeraldofan can import the 3DS file without that export as import as export as shit. And, as I mentioned, the verts already are broken when I import the OBJ to MAX. |

obj import settings maybe? ..I just import default choices and I only get minimal broken verts - but I still have all the other existing mesh problems.. I can convert to editable patch, then convert to editable poly to retain the normals, but I get little amounts of scarring once it turns from editable mesh |

you need to use Luigi's quickBMS and his zip script to extract the files http://aluigi.org/papers.htm#quickbms http://aluigi.org/papers/bms/zip.bms ↑ file + save page as and place it in quickbms folder then start quickbms and follow the on screen instructions |
