Vlad postd this link in the SB the other day.. no clue WHY as it should have been postd in here- I dug it up so YOU, our unknown silent members, could have a series of video modeling tutorials that examples Max workflow.. why workflow? because without using any kind of structure, it's hard to scratch anything- especially if you're new to Max and find yourself asking "how and WHERE do I start!?" ..workflow is either taught, or developed over years of experience.. therefore, each individual's flow is different - altho a lot of basic tools are covered in these videos, this is not a modeling tutorial as this kat is a schooled professional and goes pretty fast, but these videos should at least give you some idea of how to mentally structure your projects.. http://cg.tutsplus.com/tutorials/3d-art/creating-a-next-gen-video-game-hot-rod-the-complete-workflow-day-1/ |

I haven't gone all they way thru them, but there is parts 3a, 3b and 3c, they're not posted, but at the end of each video, are made avail as "other videos" options.. I just checkd 3a and he's detailing the engine in that one, so idk what 3c covers - odd and disappointing that "Day 3" is 404
