well see, in this case (IV), we'll be using the baked textures as the primary body texture.. which means your paints will be wrappd around it (over top of it) in game- so you don't paint over the bake texture, it's only needed by us doing the cars.. you kats doin the paints need to paint over the provided edge templates - so the only thing that should be visible in your pj Tat, would be the black stripes, and that's all |

right, got it. but what if i want to paint all over the template with a texture for example? and another question. the second template of R8 (i mean the new one 1.15mb) is a little bit wider than the first (even if both are 2048x2048) how can i maintain the proportions if i want to add some writing(or any image). i mean if it's wider in game will be normal, so the pj will look kinda distorted. |

shyt, I import my Vey.3ds into Zm and everything's listed, but I can't see NOTHN xD (Zm effn LICKS SWEATY DONKEY BALLS!! lol) edit- I can right click in the hierarchy and get individual body parts to show.. but these things are spread all over hell n back (stupid fuckn app) xD |

i did sth wrong, or the sides of the r8 have different sizes? btw, one side has to be mirrored to show up right? ![]() edit: figured it out on my own how to test it. downloaded a newer version of zm with the 3ds plugin included, and i realized it's really easy to import a material when the mapping it's already done. I know it's not such a big deal for you guys, but for me it is.

@ Kot Reset Xform in Max before exporting to 3ds,and first import in ZM1,then save,and import the old z3d into ZM2.

I did reset x-form ..but thx man ![]() but it don't matter, I wasn't porting to Zm, I was trying to show zilla how to mess with the materials but couldn't cuz I couldn't get the the effn bodymesh to show in the 3d viewport lol FAIL xD |
