we can't have big black lines runnin across the mesh where the UVW separates
(like those across my bonnet) :/

Decided not to use a baked one for mine cause it looks crappy,so you guys can use the simple template.

@Wired. i baked one too, and i dont think its crap.. however, my roof 'n hood part is not nearly as white as urs.. u used an omni ?

@Kotton. why should my paddin do any difference ? i've set it to 0 then 1, then 2 finally 64.. no difference in the front hood part ? and i dont have those black lines across my hood ?

padding makes all the difference, it adds pixels around the borders so you don't have lines like that- and if you set it to 64, it'd be a gigantic blurry blob with no distinguishable details- when you use 0 padding, you'll always have black lines where the mapping separates

(just like seen on Wireds fbmp)

so 2 is usually optimal- not to mention that when you do a bake scene, any mesh that is under any other mesh in the uvw will cause a shadow on the top (like the Vey's bonnet before you photshoppd it) but as I said, nvfm, I'll hook it up... effn noob :peeu: lol

I'm not sure i will be using the Baked ones, cuz it's ve'ing a lots of crappy things
mainly the door, hood, bonnet lines, etc. :(
so it's better to use the normal templates :yu:

forgot to mention, the final PJ's should be .png format with the bottom untouched (white) layer being somewhat see thru.. if not completely transparent- the PJ's are layered on top of the primary map, so to have the PJ bottom (white) layer change color, it needs to be transparent (at very least 60-75% transparency)
