what? here.. now? lemme guess, you're not as absurd and bored as us americans and don't celebrate and greet the entire month in advance eh?.. see, we no longer celebrate the one day but the entire month - for example, the 24th of april is my birthday, but every single day of april, I'll be saying.. "ay what up trick, it's my birthday today.. gimme my lapdance bitch" .. same goes with all holidays and special occasions here in the states - we've been brainwashed and conditioned by mass media to the extent that we start shopping for valentines a month in advance, easter, a month in advance, independence day, a month in advance - and it's only trickled down to personal holidays and occasions (such as graduations or birthdays as I've mentioned) - theoretically, in five years, the entire year will be one big ass never ending "celebration" of frivolous, meaningless shit and consumption... hence me wishing everyone "happy holidays" 15 days ago and not merry christmas on christmas eve... but hey, now that we here, Merry Christmas everyone! :toast: :suicide: |
