Kormada is a planet in a galaxy far from Earth. It orbits a star called Prime, along with three other planets. Kormada has two moons, Nonus and Omicron. Kormada is ruled by the deity Kestrel, who was created by the more highly ranked deities known as Scarbearers. Kestrel is a wyvern, not a dragon. He has two legs and two wings with a scorpion barb on his tail and poisonous claws. Kestrel caused The Great Split, an earthquake that separated the Kormadian supercontinent Avia into all of the current continents. The major continents are The Offland, The Northern Mainland, The Southern Mainland and The Marredland. The sub-continents are Dreamscape, Hinterland, and Kestrel's Keep. All of the other boards you see are minor islands scattered throughout the planet. Kormada's continents are divided by a very shallow ocean. Inhabitants must swim to make it to new lands or walk across the ocean when it is frozen over. Omicron, Kormada's larger moon, was struck by an asteroid in Version 2. It was sent onto a collision course with the planet itself. In Version 3, the Kormadians discovered Dreamscape. Dreamscape is a sub-continent that is free of dangerous forces. In Version 4, Kestrel caused The Vaporous Eye (a large volcano in the Marredland) to erupt. The planet was thrown into long-term darkness and bio-luminescent plants evolved. In Version 10, Kestrel makes his presence known to the Kormadians when he reverses the damage done to Omicron by the asteroid in Version 2. Prior to this, they had no knowledge of his existence or powers. In Version 11 it is revealed that Prime is entering the Red Giant star phase, meaning it will eventually swell and engulf the planets that orbit it. In Version 12, Hinterland is discovered, and non-equine characters appear. In Version 13, the Kormadians begin a campaign to rid themselves of Kestrel. In Version 14, Prime's transformation into a Red Giant continues and it shines less brightly. The light it does give off, when mixed with Kormada's atmosphere, cause the world to be bathed in a blue light. In Version 15, the plan to capture Kestrel develops. It is revealed that although he cannot die, he is capable of becoming diseased. His mind is failing him and he is going crazy. The Kormadians succeed in capturing Kestrel in Version 16. They ensnare him in a giant net and bury him in Quarter Caverns, a territory in the Loftland. The cavern is then flooded and sealed off. In Version 17, the Kormadians search for 12 tablets that supposedly tell the origins of the alliances. In Version 18, it is revealed that the tablets were too hard to find, and each alliance blames the other. In Version 19, The Scourge appear. They are a mass of insect-like creatures that swarm and destroy everything in their path. They attack all of the major continents and force all of Kormada's inhabitants into the Loftland. In Version 20, Kestrel breaks out of his prison but cannot destroy The Scourge. He sacrifices himself when he traps the infestation in his own soul. The Scarbearers then tell the Kormadians that they can either return Kestrel's soul to him and ensure their survival, or let sleeping dogs lay and entrust their survival to chance alone. They decide to return Kestrel's soul, but when they do, it is revealed that The Scourge now have partial control of the wyvern himself. Four of the continents are flooded leaving just the original four inhabitable. Edited by `Scoot, Nov 28 2015, 11:33 AM.
