Bayla made her way into the land. Her hooves pounded to ground with the sound of thunder in the sky. Her dark and lovely eyes took in everything around her. Her mane and tail fluttered in the wind. Her mouth moved around and her nares flared with wonder taking in the sights and scents. The wind rufffled through the grass and stirred the leaved on the tree. Her head moved up as her eyes followed the wind, unseeing and full of scent. Her legs came to a stop as she looked around. A few others had dotted the scenery here. Her head moved and swayed as she looked for someone anyone willing to take this mare, one who was stubborn but unable to make up her mind. A neutral. One who could be swayed either way. Light or Dark. Or maybe even rogue. Who knew, not even her. Her eyes kept rotating, then they stopped. He was coming. The one who would claim her. Her head snaked to the ground and pretended to be interested in the grass below. She stood unmoving, legs unable to move forward. She took in the scent of the stud coming to her, waiting and watching. How would he claim her. Force? that might work, but she did have a little pent up anger in her. Gentle? she sometimes had a hard time making up her mind. Maybe somewhere in between would be a good starting place.

It's not much of a life you're living
It's not just something you take, it's given
The stallion paced annoyingly through the foresty part of the homeless grounds. The branches lightly touching his pelt and tickling him. However he didn't bother to think about it that much, he wanted to get back home to Bracken Bracken and that soon. He rushes out of the thicket and comes into the clearing. The wind pushed against his chest as the sturdy stallion fought back. It was a crappy day and the stallion was in a bad mood. He looks around to find the shortest way towards the shoreline, he wanted to leave the homeless where it was closest to the Offland. It was nice to live so close, it sometimes came in handy.

While the stallion paces through the grounds to find the most convenient exit he notices a mare. A very stunning mare, her coat was pure white and ebony black. Well ... he had some spare minutes, he wasn't in that much rush. Plus the mare was alone. He changes his direction and slows to a trot while he approaches the mare. When he is close enough he comes to a halt and smiles charmingly to the mare. "Hello there, my name is Théoden and I come from Bracken Bracken in the Offland" he said to the mare. "What is your name?" he asked the mare, his tone casual. He was trying to be cheerful but it was hard when the weather was like this and he wanted to get home to Epiphany and Grenache.

The mare watched as the stallion got closer. The winds changing as she sensed his mood. His charming smile only made her take a step in reverse. Then she decided it might be nice to have a little fun. She lifted her ebony head and shook her mane out a little. I am Bayla. she smirked and trotted in circles around this bold stallion. Her legs took her one by one around. She flicked her tail towards him and as she made her way behind him and stopped making sure her head was pointed his way. You are from Bracken Bracken? and be you light dark or neutral? she knew what she was and was curious to see his response.

His eyes were focused on the mare as he waited for her to speak her name. His ears pricked up when she spoke the words. If he had heard right then her name was Bayla. He noticed a smirk creep upon her lips as she began to trot around him. The dunskin stallion was very surprised with her actions, he had never ever come across a mare that had done this. Soon the mare came to a halt behind him and he turned his head towards the mare. He looked her in the eyes while she spoke to him. The mare asked him, well basically said that he was from Bracken Bracken. He nodded to the mare, wondering what the hell was going on. Another question came from the mare's mouth shortly after. "I am off the neutral alliance" he then spoke. The stallion turned around so his rump wasn't directed towards the mare. "And yourself?" he then asked.

She watched with interest as the stallion as he nodded and then as he spoke. I am neutral as well. A smiled curved on her lips as he turned to face her. She studied him, taking in the color of his eyes and coat. She waited, and turned her head to the trees, taking in the sights. Bayla cocked her head and moved a few feet away, wondering if he would follow. Her tail swished in the wind as her coat glistened under the warm sun. She bent her neck to the ground and moved her lips over the grass beneath, nares flaring to take in the scent of the grass once more. she lipped a few pieces and chewed them slowly.

His ears were pricked forward when the mare spoke. So she was a neutral as well, the stallion wasn't sure if he would allow a dark mare into his herd. It would all really depend on how dark she would be. Too dark and he would not allow her in. The dunskin overo stallion watched the mare as she turned her head towards the trees. She began to take few steps away from the stallion and he just stared at the mare, wondering what was going on. His startling blue eyes studying her figure. The mare began to graze and the stallion watched her. Unsure what he should do he just stood there and waited for her do speak, ask him questions, whatever she wanted to know to find a home.

Bayla turned her head back and took in his blue eyes. A smile played on her mouth. Do you have your own land, Theoden? Her ears pricked with curiosity. She wanted a home and this stallion seemed like the one who might offer one. She wasnt looking for a herd to become part of, her past had taught her that she never truly belonged. She just wanted a place to live where there was green grass to eat and plenty of land to run. One that offered cool water to drink and possibility of foals one day. She took a few steps closer to the stallion, hope filling her eyes.

A smile appeared on the mare's lips so the stallion smiled back to her. The mare then asked her if he had his own land. The stallion thought when he had told her about Bracken Bracken that she would realized that was his territory. Then he remembered that the mare had asked if he was from Bracken Bracken but he had forgotten to answer her. "Yes, I do" then said before continuing. "Bracken Bracken is my land" he then spoke again. The dunkskin's overo gaze was directed at his feet for few seconds. He then raised his head again and looked at the mare. "Perhaps you would like to join me?" he asked the mare.

Bayla smiled and dipped her elelgant ebony head. I would love to. She moved next to him and stood, her ebony legs like pillars. Her mane and tail blew in the wind, like a banner. She shook her head and waited for him to lead her away. She wondered what Bracken Bracken was like. She hoped it was everything she wanted. A herd,a place to call home. And this stallion would lead the way. She looked to the rugged dunskin stallion, waiting for him to start.
