![]() The Gypsy Vanner mare trudged through the homeless grounds, avoiding eye contact with each and every equine that she passed. The bay roan sabino flicked her ears, many different buzzing sounds filling the air. She walked on, attempting to find somewhere... quieter to rest. She wasn't sure herself as to whether she meant to wander into the grounds that she found herself in, but she ignored it anyway. Currently she wasn't neither displeased, nor exactly excited or content with the fact she'd ended up in such an area. She shrugged the feeling off as she searched for a quieter, more secluded area to stop for a while. She expected that no stallions would come to such a mare like herself, after all - everything about her screamed do not approach. The mare spotted a place that seemed rather appealing to her, and so she wandered over. It seemed to be a cherry blossom tree, surrounded by multiple different bushes. Pretty, but definitely a quieter area. The mare slowed to a stop as she wove around the bushes to stand under the trees. She looked up, into the cherry blossom trees. One of the pretty pink flowers floated down and landed on the mare's nose. She chuckled, before shaking her head lightly - and the flower fell to the ground. She sighed gently. Another flower fell, landing on the mares mane this time. It landed just behind her ear, on her poll. She snorted, but left it there. She liked it. She looked around, but nothing else appealed to her. The mare peered over some of the shorter bushes, and she saw stallions approaching pretty young mares. She sighed once more. A stallion would have to be out of his mind to even consider approaching me The mare thought with sadness. She knew that it was true, and was more than willing to admit it. She was just getting... lonely. Not that she wasn't used to it. think actions "speak" other notes: I warn you now, Rrikani is bipolar & an attention seeker, along with the fact she has horrible communication skills. If you haven't checked out her stats, I'd suggest so. Just click... here! I'm excited to roleplay her though, so yeah :] |

THE GREATEST.

![]() I got a monster in my closet and under my bed maybe I'm better off dead than living with your ghost inside my head. Let’s start with the facts; Kato didn’t want to be here. He would much rather be back in South Codex minding his own business. It wasn’t like having mares to keep him company and crowd his land would improve anything. They would just take up space, require surveillance, and need attention… Kato wasn’t keen on any of it. He would be able to lead a herd no problem, anyone that had issues with him or the rules would simply be advised to leave, it was the attention he would be responsible for providing that he had troubles with. Once Kato became of age, it didn’t take long to realize that something was not right. His hormones were all there, but after numerous attempts he still was without any offspring. Not that it was particularly important to him, foals required more attention than fully grown mares after all, though it was becoming clear that he may have to come to terms that he would be the end of his line. His mother, of course, was more than displeased with this fact. Suki had a lot planned for him, it was no secret that power meant everything to her, but after years with no foals of his blood being born she grew even more demanding than normal. So, Kato humored her. He claimed a land in the Marredland (though it was not The Faults, which is what she had originally expressed interest in) and now he was here, searching for mares to build himself with. But no matter how many mares he possessed, he would never be able to keep them or his notoriety if he couldn’t sire foals. The world was a cruel place. Homeless was indeed a sad place to be. He scanned the territory, quickly deciding that no mares here were worth his time. A desperate mare was good, it meant that he wouldn’t have to try hard to get them to follow him, but there was a fine line between desperate and hopeless. He knew that a simple glance over wasn’t really enough to know the horse, but his time was precious and the sooner he was back in South Codex the better. He walked nonchalantly through the grounds, quickly maneuvering himself towards the bushes and trees. It seemed less crowded over there, and he needed a minute to straighten out his thoughts. He caught a glimpse of a flower falling from a tree out of the corner of his eye and heard a horse nearby laugh softly, but didn’t investigate it further. Not until another flower fell did Kato turn his head and notice the large, gypsy vanner mare standing under one of the neighboring trees. She clearly had a “do not disturb” attitude about her, but Kato decided that he could go for a challenge right now. His pale pelt glistened in the sun as he made his way towards her. He wasn’t nervous, but this would be his first interacting with a mare other than his mother. Despite this fact, he was still confident in his abilities to woo. He approached slowly, though did not extend any type of greeting to her before he came to a halt and spoke. "You may not want company, but any stallion would be crazy not to desire yours." Kato said suavely, smirking gently. She was a pretty mare indeed, though who knew what secrets hid underneath the surface. 15.3 hands || dark || pale palomino || Suki x Kairos || South Codex |

![]() The mare flicked her ears, but stopped when she felt the flower dislodge. But it floated to the ground, and the mare snorted in annoyance, nudging the pretty flower mid air. She frowned. It had been the only pretty element of her, but she supposed that it wasn't really to be. The mare peered over the bushes once more, watching the conversations between mares and stallions. She noticed some mares had one, or several stallions crowded around them - very few had none like herself. But the mare wasn't so bothered, she'd expected no less. She wasn't sure she could tolerate a conversation anyway, especially if it was an arrogant stallion whom approached her - if one was to. Hoof steps sounded behind her, and the mare swiveled around - and at the same time a voice rang out to her. A startled expression washed over her face, which quickly drained away. "Oh, of course" The mare replied sarcastically. "Stallions should be falling at my knee's, begging me to follow them" She frowned, as if a bitter taste had touched her tongue. She snorted. "And who are you to decide or judge whether or not I wish for company?" The mare scanned the equine in front of her. The stallion in front of her was a light palomino, pale. Charming in some ways more than others - though he did try too hard to charm the mare. "Perhaps, instead of attempting to charm me over, tell me a little about yourself?" The mare asked, with an almost irritated tone. Confidence ebbed off the stallion, and the mare almost mistook it for arrogance - though there seemed to be a hint of it. The mare wished to share no details with a stallion whom would not share his, and so the mare simply kept quiet. It would soon be time to see if her mild hostility displeased the equine whom stood before her. think actions "speak" other notes: I really really wanted to reply? xD |

Trylon was purposely prowling the less populated areas of the Homeless. He felt like he would have success in finding a suitable mare here. He wanted to find someone who would strive for that goal he was fixated on. That goal was to be remembered, to obtain a position of high power, and to be feared by Kormadians. Trylon was feeling lucky today. He was eager to find a mare who could share his thirst for power. He cared for his future mares, because he knew he would choose them very carefully. He knew he would only choose a mare who made an oath to follow that same goal. He would not allow his mares to be forgotten, or to become simple herd-mares. Trylon stopped for a moment to scan the landscape around him. With a simple turn of his buckskin head, he found his gaze resting on a mare not too far in the distance. She looked like she held promise. Trylon turned his body to face her, in preparation of approaching her. He would watch her for a moment, to make sure that this gut feeling was correct. He would hate to approach a mare that did not meet his requirements. It would be quite inconvenient for the stallion, and it would waste precious time. Another stallion approached the mare before he did. Trylon's eyes sparkled. He felt like he had an advantage here. He could observe safely, and see firsthand what this mare was like. The palomino stallion approached the mare, and the first words that came out of his mouth were ones of flattery. Trylon huffed to himself. He would not cause the mare such disrespect. Trylon visibly smirked when the mare snapped at the palomino. That stallion had it coming, in Trylon's mind. Trylon moved closer, and when the mare asked a question, Trylon took his chance. "I reckon that this stallion is not interested in much more than an intimate relationship with you." Trylon began. He was now only a few feet away from the stallion and the mare. "I realize that the Homeless is The Land of Courtship in the minds of many stallions, but I'm not particularly interested in such things at the moment, to put it lightly." Trylon glanced over at the stallion before looking back at the mare. "I am interested in offering you a purpose beyond what this stallion is probably offering. I do not want to gather mares only to have them become part of a useless herd." Trylon paused, and decided to let the mare say something. He spoke in a casual tone of voice, just to send home the fact that he was not interested in flattering her like the palomino stallion had done. "My name is Trylon. I would be pleased to tell you more, but I would also be pleased if I could ask you questions of my own." |
