![]() Daphne lowered her head a bit as she wandered into the homeless area. It had been far too long for her liking that she had been in search of a place to call her home. A place where she felt like family. She stretched her legs out as the sun appeared from behind a cloud, warming her back and face. She wandered a bit further into the meadow, laying down in the tall grass and rolling around happily. Oh how she loved warm days like these. Winter was absolutely dreadful. Many a night she had found herself shivering in the cold darkness, curled up in cavities she had dug out in the snow, curling into herself as close as she could to stay warm. But alas, she had heard of a place where homeless mares could go to find herds, and she was finally there. It all seemed so surreal. She pushed herself up, shaking the grass from her body before prancing over to a watering hole. She stretched her neck down, taking in the fresh, cool water. When she felt refreshed, she stood back up, turning around, taking in all the others in the meadow. It made her feel less alone to see so many others who had most likely been through an ordeal similar to hers. She spotted a patch of flowers, and quickly ran over to it, laying down in the patch. She lowered her head down to the daisies, inhaling their sweet scent. Out of all the things she had found in her travels, flowers still seemed to be the most beautiful, and sweetest, thing she had come across. She took a small bunch in her mouth, chewing them as she looked around the meadow again, watching others come and go, lost in her own thoughts as she stayed laying there. |

T o r n a d o+ + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + +Leaves littered everything as the young stallion ventured into the homeless. The Friesian picked himself out of the cool salty water and shook till his coat was fairly dry. 'Twas days like this that made life worth living. As he psychically walked throughout the homeless his mind was elsewhere. Izabella and Elora were safely at home, and so was his colt Caleb. Yet he couldn't say the same for Fura. It angered him to this very second that Izabella had let her go without him even getting to say a see you soon or even a goodbye. Elora's words sunk into him often, she was wise and loving and always had a halo of warmth around her. He loved that about her. Izabella was sweet, and had excepted Elora with flawlessness. She didn't seem to mind when him and her embraced either. He shook away these scattered thoughts and continued to look for a mare with wholeheartedness. A smirk curled around his lips as he spot a ravishing mare laying in a bed of flowers. He chuckled to himself as he walked up to her with boast in his step. He nickered lowly and lowered his nose down to her's. "Milady." He said bowing, folding his right front leg back and pushing his chin to his chest. "It's simply to nice of a day to be spending alone, mind if I join you?" His deep voice rumbled out of his throat. His dark brown eyes held her's as he awaited a reply. Daphne jumped a bit as she heard a noise coming up behind her. She turned her head, her eyes following the large stallion's legs upwards towards his face. She cocked her head a bit curiously as he bowed. It wasn't often that she encountered stallions as chivalrous as this one seemed to be. She shook out her mane, trying to shake out any flowers or blades of grass that had become entangled in her hair, hoping that she would be able to make a good impression on this fellow. "Join me? Why of course~!" She smiled and wiggled her legs a bit, moving herself over to the side to make more room in the patch, though many were bent down from where she had been laying. "What brings you to these parts? Surely you have a herd that is large already..." She tilted her head a bit causing her mane to fall to the side, her forelock to slid into her left eye. She batted her eyelashes at him as she stretched her legs out in front of her, crossing one over the other. "So I assume that you are not homeless, so what brings you out to a place like this?" She looked away from him to eye their surroundings. |

Her voice was smooth and sugary, her body was coated with gold. He chuckled softly as he watched the mare scoot over. He walked over next to her and laid down. A smile curled around his dark lips. His ebony tail fanned out behind his muscular body. His turned is head to face the mare. "Yes, I have two mares, one filly, and a young man." He chuckled to himself as he thought about his lovely home. "I'm here to find a new family member." He flashed a handsome smile over to her. "If you don't mind me asking, why is such a beautiful mare, such as yourself, doing all alone?" His voice was tinted with gentleness. His dark brown eyes looked her over as he awaited a reply from the gorgeous mare.

Daphne's eyes went wide at the Stallion's comment, causing her to look away to hide her embarrassment. She flicked her tail a bit as she listened to him speak. "That sounds like a lovely family you have there." She looked back with a softness in her eyes, smiling lightly at him. "Oh, I've been alone for awhile. My first herd, the one I was born into, they all died off from predators and disease, my mother included...So I've been wandering around, looking for a place I can call home since. I've found a few herds, but none of them seemed to have the sense of family I have so longed for." She sighed a bit dreamily and looked up towards a tree, watching the birds. "Maybe I'm just too picky." She was talking more to herself than to the Stallion beside her. Daphne shook her neck a bit, trying to get her forelock out of her face before looking back to the Stallion. "What makes you want another family member?" She tilted her head curiously, a habit she had. "You seem to have a lovely little family of your own already." She pulled her legs in towards her again, curling them around her a bit, moving her body so she was facing him more. "I don't mean to pry." She looked away a bit. She had been a bit....inept at conversing with others, due to her lack of socializing. Perhaps in this new place she should keep to herself a bit, she was sure this Stallion didn't want her pressing in on his personal life. |

Tornado grimaced as the poor mare told her story. "I'm so sorry, that must have been awful, my dear. And I don't believe i caught your name." His deep words rumbled with sweetness just as another stallion came up. Competition. Tornado smirked, he flung is ebony bangs out of his eyes with a flip out his head and made i contact with the stallion. Tornado smiled at the stallion's kindness. "Yes, I do believe I have, but I think she'd be more comfortable if we give her a wide berth of choosing, don't you think so, sir?" He respectively bowed his head to the stallion, but not in the same fashion as he did the mare. He stood up, and stood on the stallion's right side. "I am Tornado, of Kelpie's Hideaway. It's nice to meet you Thames of Holy Track." His eyes reset to meet the mares. "Kelpie's Hideaway is nice, half is always cold and the other half changes with the seasons. It has lush green meadows in autumn, spring, and summer. It has many streams perfect for swimming, and many shallow pools for sun bathing, my mares love it there the most." He ending his speech with a slight chuckle and met both of their eyes. "You are welcome anytime, under any circumstance." He flashed another handsome smile at the mare, and gave the stallion another respectful head bob.

Relic knew this might be his last trip to the homeless grounds for a while, both his mares were pregnant and there was no way he would risk leaving as there pregnancies progressed. He wanted to be there for them if they needed anything. Just thinking about being away from his two lovely mares Janvier and Chimaera, made him want to make this trip quick so he could hopefully bring a new mare home, so their were more mares populating his beautiful home. Relic was a bright blood bay coloring, he had inherited it from his father and his father from his dam. Relic smiled as he walked around the homeless looking for a mare that seemed suitable to hopefully come home with him. Relic was browsing for only a few minutes when his gaze rested upon a golden palomino mare who was lying in a patch of flowers. She was certainly beautiful, but it seemed as if the conversation was in the later stages. Torn between not wanting to interrupt and wanting very badly to meet this mare, Relic stood his warm brown gaze resting lightly on the mares beautiful form. Relic decided to go for it and approached the mare. "Hello Mad'am, I am Relic of Kherulian Fief, would you do me the pleasure of repeating your name? I could not pass by with out introducing myself." Relic was not sorry he had interrupted she was beautiful and he would be honored to have this mare call him her claimer, but he was getting way ahead of himself. Relic realized that both stallions had probably already described their homes to the beautiful mare so after a pause he spoke again. "I guess I had better tell you a little more about me and my home. I would love another mare in my herd because as of now I only have 2 mare I am looking for maybe two more at most but I really am looking for that small tight nit family group that has fun together." As Relic talks about his family his warm brown eyes have a spark of utter happiness in them, he would not trade his life for anything. "I do not have any foals at the moment, but both of my mares are expecting foals soon and I am wanting to get back to them soon. Relic looked at the two stallion, he had just managed to over hear that both had foals of their own but Relic was a first time father and was nervous as anything. A small sheepish smile appeared on his face. "My home is located in the Offland and is somewhat of a tropical paradise, essentially a bubble of warm weather and cold winter never touches my home. There are lots of trees and places to explore and I love it more than anything." Relic's eyes rang of truth and he sincerely hoped that the mare would choose him. Conscious that he had been dominating the conversation, he quieted letting others get a word in. | ||||

Daphne shook her head at the Stallion. "Oh no, it's quite already. I try not to dwell too much on it. I don't want to be filled with sadness...That's not living." She offered a soft and sincere smile, though hidden deep within her brown eyes was a hint of sadness. A sadness she tried to keep tucked deep inside of her, hidden from strangers. Her attention was snapped away when another stallion approached them. She looked up at him, tilting her head a bit curiously. Were all mares approached this often? She watched Tornado stand, listening intently to them both, keeping her smile and eye soft. "Those both sound so lovely.." Her attention shifted yet again when yet a third Stallion approached. She looked at Relic with surprise as he spoke of his herd, a small herd, one she felt she might be comfortable with. "My name is Daphne, of nowhere in particular." Daphne pushed herself to her feet, shaking herself out a bit, shaking the daisies that had attached themselves to her mane and tail. She stood in front of the three stallions, shifting a bit on her feet. She wasn't used to so much attention being focused on her at once. In fact, she wasn't used to attention being focused on her much at all. She had wandered around, mostly alone, moving from herd to herd, searching for one she felt at home in. Most of the herds she had been adopted into, she managed to slip into unnoticed, and went unnoticed for quite a bit of time. The Stallions took little interest in managing all of their mares, for their herds were often so large, but these ones seemed smaller. More...like the family she had always been wanting. "Your family is so small...You don't want it to be much bigger?" She directed her attention to Relic, cocking her head a bit in interest. He seemed so focused on his family, his eyes beaming just at the mention of them. "All the other herds I have encountered have been quite large...I was hardly even noticed as a matter of fact." This time she was talking more to herself than to the others, her eyes trailing away from the three in thought. |

Tornado chuckled as another stallion came up. "I love all of my mares dearly, Elora and Izabella are both quick to love and never hate. Izabella welcomed Elora in like she'd known her forever. My son, Caleb, and heir to the throne, is very sweet and smart. My daughter Fura is three years of age and has already left the birds nest to go seek her special somebody. Hopefully she will return with her new-found man. She and Caleb grew up so fast, sometimes I just wish I could go back in time to be with them more instead of running my perimeter checks." Tornado's face was downcast as he finished his speech. "I just can't wait to go back home and see them once more." He smiled at the new stallion and gave him a respectful bow like he did Thames. "Nice to meet you. Relic of Kherulian Fief." His eyes met his and switched back over to the mare's. "What are you looking for in a home, Daphne?" He asked his chocolate brown eyes held her's as he awaited a reply. occ: sorry its so short >.< |

![]() linkSkillet I awake to find no peace of mind, I said, how do you live as a fugitive Down here where I cannot see so clear I said, what do I know Show me the right way to go The big stallion stepped gratefully out of the water, his huge form powerfully gliding out of the sea. For such a big guy he didn't like the water at all, and plus this time of year it was cold, and about to get colder. He had traveled on what he had hoped to be the warm current, but somewhere he must have slipped off, and it had been a chilly trip. He stood on the beach, his large hooves sinking into the fine sand. He shook his head, which turned into an enormous tremor that rocked his thick body, water droplets flying everywhere around him. He stood for a moment, letting Prime's warm rays sink into his skin, warming him, though a second later a cold wind swept across him, robbing him of the warmth he had just obtained. He shivers, and moved forward into the forest which lined the grounds. He wandered though the clearing, trying to find a mare the stood out. None did, and he made his way deeper inland. As far as he could see none of the equines gathered mached his height, and for this he was proud. His height and strenght were his greatest weapon, and he prided himself in them. He archedhis neck ashe thought of these, and picked up hislegs a bit more, making for an attractive sight. His mismatched eyes scanned the mares around him, until they landed on a beautiful palomino. She was crowded around by a lot of other stallions, and though it wasn't like him he felt the urge to go to her. She was much shorter than him, and her delicate features mad eher that much more pretty. He kept his gaze on her for a bit longer, his eyes tracing the curves in her pretty dished face, and the daintyness of her overall apperance. He then made up his mind and decided to chance it on her. He trotted the short distance over to the group, settling himself by one of the stallions. He came in on the tail of things, and hadn't heard a word of what the others had said, nor the mare. His dark lips pulling up into a handsome smile, and he respectfully dipped his head to her. "Madam, I'm sorry to come in so late, would you be so kinda as to tell me your name, and I will tell you a bit about myself?" He said, his deep, bass voice polite, and respectful. He had only eyes for herat the moment, though was never rude to other stallions, they were all after the same thing, but Skillet didn't like obtaining it by arrogant shows. He gave her ample time to respond to him before he continued with a bit about himself. "My name is Skillet, I live is a place called Cedar Helm Forest, in the Scantland." He said, his deep voice still polite, though a bit reserved, for he didn't like so many other stallions as his audience. "I currently have one mare, though am hoping to get more, obviously." He said, adding a grin, and a slight quiet chuckle at the end. He then fell quiet, ready for any questions directed at him. And the spies came out of the water But you're feeling so bad cos you know But the spies hide out in every corner But you can’t touch them no Cos they’re all spies They’re all spies Stallion-8yo.-Neutral-Shire-Bay Blagdon-18.1hh-Cedar Helm Forest, Scantland-Mares: Halo-Foals: None-#011239 |
