Heck is for people who don't believe in Gosh ;)
Jessica galloped into the Homeless. She was actually here! The mare could not believe it. She missed her family, but was also eager to start a new one. The American Bashkir hybrid tried to keep her mind focused on the new life ahead. Part of her was torn. She longed to see her family again. She also could hardly contain herself with the excitement of joining a new one.

Jessica came up next to a tree and decided to wait there. She looked at everyone else who were in the Homeless. So many equines! Just being around others started to make her hooves quiver. She began to twitch all around as she tried to restrain herself from nickering or neighing excitedly, or from jumping up and down endlessly. Her started quaking and her hooves kept lifting themselves off of the ground like some sort of excited puppy.

Jessica was a beautiful mare. She had American Bashkir blood in her, creating a slightly curly and wavy, soft coat. She had some Appaloosa blood in her to even things out. And lastly, she even had Gypsy Vanner blood, which gifted her with long, red-chestnut mane and slight feathering. Her long tail just slightly curled up at the end, too. Jessica, on her chest, had a white star that she had always had as a filly. Her coat was a light chestnut, and her hooves white. The mare's eyes glowed as she waited for someone to approach, letting a little excited nicker escape.

Virgill

The tall dark bay stallion walked into the homeless grounds, he remembered last time he got here, he was lucky then because he met Belisma and now he had sired a beautiful colt and he could not be happier, but he wanted to add some memebers to his small herd, and then was Marilena, his good rouge friend that had showed up in Miser's Thicket and the soon Belisma went into labors, it was a stressful day but now it was all good and he wanted to bigger his herd. The bay kept on walking and his thin mane and tail flickered when the smallest wind possible blew. His strongly build legs moved further into the homeless grounds. He looked over the place he had found his first mare and she was now home in Miser's Thicket.
The stallion looked around and taking a close look on the mare's, he wanted to bring a mare with strong personality back home and someone he knew that would fit in. His eyes scanned the place and when he spotted a chestnut mare standing near a tree, he watched her from a distance for some time and she gave out a nicker and he took that as a signal she wanted some company so the stallion decided to work his way over to her. He came closer to her and he started seeing her curly surface and the little feathering on her legs, he smiled when he was close enough and he opened his mouth to introduce him self to the mare "Hello miss, my name is Virgill from Miser's Thicket, just wanted to check if you were up for some chat!" he said happily and waited for her respond, if she wanted to talk or not.

Straka-----------------------------------------------He stepped high and proud through the homeless. He had gotten land without a fight, he was so ecstatic. As soon as he came into stop and twisted his head in different directions hoping to spy a mare. His lips curled up into a slight smirk as he spied a curly mare. She didn't look like she had been a mare for long though. His head bobbed up and down as he came up to the mare. He bent down into a bow before the mare. Ignoring the immature stallion that stood next to him. "Hello milady, it's a pleasure just being in your presence, I am Straka of Tiger's Pool."His bass voice called out from his thick neck as he stood in awe at the beautiful, fluffy, mare.

ooc- it would've been bigger if kormada hadn't ate my post.

The Arabian hybrid’s slender legs moved across the ground with surprisingly rapid movement, despite him being just shy of sixteen hands tall. It was late summer, and the bay’s coat had come up a beautiful cherry shade, almost red. He continued to canter through the border into the homeless, easily the most popular of the common grounds. Even though breeding season was almost upon them, there were still several mares wandering around looking eagerly for homes. One of his own mares, Narnia, was preparing to give birth to their very first foal, and Roux could feel the butterflies already. He was an experienced father, but it was always nerve racking when one of his beloved mares went to foal. His only son, Relic, was now an adult, with some of his sisters close behind him agewise. Time had gone quickly for the stallion, but he was happy he had been around to help his mate Katani raise them.

These past couple of years had been good for him. He had expanded his claim of mares up to four, with foals to show for it. This had been the first time he had conceived a foal with anyone else other than Katani, but Azalea was a fine mother to little Bryony, and he was sure Narnia would do fine too. Coming out to the homeless was allowing the stallion to clear his head, before he started the difficult process of moving his herd. As they were not of large numbers, it would hopefully be easier, but he was nervous. Foals were slow to travel, and although most of the youngsters were over a year old now, Narnia would have a newborn to cope with. He was still confident the change would be good for all of them; his father had been kind to allow them to live in the land he grew up in.

He slowed down to a walk, the muscles under his coat rippled at the sudden gait change, his ebony tail flicking casually over his hocks as his dished face turned left then right, inspecting the pickings. A flash of red caught his eye, as he looked again to find a pretty chestnut already surrounded by two stallions. She looked like she was young, but very attractive; holding a fuller frame with a little feathering on her curly legs. A slight smile graced his maw as Roux turned his body in that direction, halting just as the second stallion had introduced himself. “I won’t ask you for your name again, I’m sure these gentlemen have already done that.” He addressed the mare, a curt nod given to his fellow suitors before continuing. “My name is Roux, and I live in Kherulian Fief.”

Jessie waited eagerly, and when she saw a stallion approaching, she began quivering even more as she tried to resist from jumping up and down. The widest, most loveable smile was cracked on her lips, and her eyes gleamed as she watched the stallion approach. He came up to her, introduced himself, and asked if she wanted to chat. Jessie's answer came quickly and eagerly. "Oh boy, yes please!" She giggled as she continued to quiver out of excitement ridiculously. She loved to chat, but she knew that at some point they would have to get down to business.

She was about to say more when... another stallion appeared! Two of them?! Really?! Oh boy! The stallion, also introducing himself, said that it was a pleasure to be in her presence, and she showed obvious approval at what he said, still smiling widely.

Again, she was about to speak when yet another stallion appeared! Three? The stallion introduced himself as well, presuming that they had already asked for her name. Jessie shook her head. "Nope - they haven't." She said simply, adding a cheerful giggle. She did not need words to express how excited she was - her trembling body gave that away. Even though she was excited to see everyone, she would be watching them carefully to determine who was best to go home with.

"My name's Jessica, but you guys can call me Jessie, Jess, or JessJess, whichever you prefer!" She explained happily. "I'm an American AppaBashkirVanner, or whatever you wanna call it." She giggled again and tried to calm her still quivering legs down. "I'm so pleased to meet you Virgill, Straka, and Roux!" Her voice was deep, but had lovely tones to it. "Can you all tell me about your homes and who lives there? I'd love to know!" At the thought of herds and families, Jessie's heart sank slightly. She was becoming mighty homesick, and yet incredibly excited to start a new life. And the two emotions were battling each other for dominance.

Quickly snapping out of her train of thought, she scanned the stallions with her chocolate brown eyes. Each were unique and beautiful. But beauty did not matter to her; what mattered was to find a home with a loving stallion who would offer safety. And a stallion who loved foals. Jessie was sure that she was going to have foals. She loved those little things that twirled around your legs excitedly.

Out here in the fields
I fight for my meals
I get my back into my living

I don't need to fight
To prove I'm right
I don't need to be forgiven
The tall bay stallion smiled to the mare when she answered him, she was about to speak when another stallion came. Virgill did not feel so great about that other stallion, there was something about him he did not like. Virgill looked down at the stallion, if he was going to play unfair then Virgill would do the same. When the stallion had introduced him self as Straka, Virgill waited for the mare to tell her own name. When she was about to speak another stallion came, Virgill understood, this mare was really pretty. He introduced him self as Roux and now the bay stallion was hoping they could start talking. The mare seemed really excited. Her name was Jessie and her breed was pretty complex but Virgill did not hang on that too much, it was time to get serious and tell this mare about his home like she requested. The stallion cleared his throat and started speaking "Like i said before I live in Miser's Thicket" he said and smiled, he was so proud of his territory. "It is rather small, but it is nice being there. I live there with my only mare Belisma and my son, Argo" the stallion said and the pride was shining from his face. The thought of his mare and son always lead to the day Argo was born, the stress and the joy. He waited for the stallions to speak about their place, Virgill wasn't sure what more to tell but he guessed it was just enough. If she wanted to know more, she would just have to ask.

The red stallion couldn’t help but smile as the mare before them exclaimed that she was yet to introduce herself. Roux acknowledged that with a quick bob of his dished head, keeping quiet so the mare might compose herself and begin introductions. He wasn’t left waiting long. The female began to list off names they may call her by, followed with her breeding; a complex infusion that the Arabian had never heard of before, but as they could all see the turnout was quite lovely. The mare’s enthusiasm and excitement was clearly visible, and it put the bay in a good mood. He found her attractive in quite an unorthodox manner, for her bouncy personality was right in one’s face and her youthfulness seem to exaggerate it, but it was rather charming. She reminded him of his mare Luna, except perhaps more confident. He missed the grey mare, she was not around often. But as Jessie asked about their families, a large smile appeared on his face.

As was courtesy, the bay let the other stallions go first. After all he had arrived last and that was the norm around here; first there got to speak first. The tall bay beside him began talking about his herd, and Roux could detect that proud tone in the male’s voice when he spoke about his son. Although everyone looks forwards to becoming a parent, it is quite different when the little one finally arrives. The painted stallion was quiet, before withdrawing. Leaving just the two bay stallions with the mare, Roux paused before he spoke. He would have to alter his speech a little, after all, he was now the owner of Barrow Canal, not the Fief. His son Relic had requested he become leader of Kherulian Fief, and the blood bay had agreed. It was his heir title after all, and it meant that he could be lord over his foal home, and Roux over his.

“Well Jessie. My herd and I have just finished moving to Barrow Canal, which is in the Loftlands. It was where I grew up, and now that the only mare my sire possesses is my mother he has stepped down so I hold the claim. I currently have four mares, all of which are a joy to be around and I value their company. As I said, my parents reside there, as does my brother. We are a large family.” He said, chuckling before continuing. “I have four children, with another two on the way. My only son Relic has just become a stallion, and has claimed our old home, Kherulian Fief.” He finished, an element of pride in his voice. Family was a big part of the bay’s life, and he could boast that he had the best parents anyone could ask for, as well as Katani and the other mares and his children. Falling quiet, he waited with Virgill for Jessie’s response.
