Corvo took a confident step into the battle grounds, a choking stench slapping him in the face. The grey Unmol Horse held a smirk on his lips, and soon was found galloping furiously through the land. He skidded to a halt, his tangled mane flying in his eyes at the sudden jolt before settling down again. He took in another breath and looked around. He waited eagerly for his opponent, who he was eager to fight with. He was confident about his strength, but had not tested it in quite a while. To fight once more would be something to be proud about, especially if he won, which was sure to happen.

The painted mustang might have just as well been a ghost. The stallion made no noise as he cantered into the battle grounds. The thrill of the impending battle coursed through his veins, brutal excitement for the battle built up in his head. The mustang followed his opponent silently till the Umol horse skidded to a halt in the clearing of his choice. The wind had been in his favor so Ghosting had not yet been detected. Looping around to the other side of the clearing he emerged from the shadows of the tree line. A malicious smile marred his handsome face. Ghosting had not fought since he challenged hinder for New Key and won. Ghosting surveyed his opponent with crystal blue eyes. A smirk appeared on his face, ghosting was taller than the other stallion standing at 16.0hh. Muscle wise they were evenly matched though Ghosting was sure that he could beat this little stallion and be done in time for lunch. Ghosting spoke to his opponent with malice and a perverse pleasure sparkling in his eyes.

Corvo chuckled a low, threatening chuckle. "I agree, I quite rather like your way of this... No rules..." The Unmol Horse growled.

Attack 1:

Corvo bent his hind legs as he crouched slightly, right before lifting his front legs off of the ground and throwing his body forward. He could feel the muscles in his back legs ripple as they kept him balanced, he could feel the brief wind in his face as he shot towards the stallion, and the smell of flesh reached his nostrils. Corvo was confident that that scent would soon be polluted with the stench of blood. He tucked his front hooves in before swinging them out in a smooth motion and batting furiously, hoping to hit Ghosting. He landed on the ground as fast as he had reared, unsure of what had just happened. But if he himself was hit, he knew the pain would be setting in imminently.

Defense #1

The blue roan painted mustang entered into his zone, everything else melted away his entire concentration on the Umol horse who was now charging towards him at top speed. As if in slow motion Ghosting realized what the Umol horses attack was going to be, it was a rather straight forward attack and one that would be avoided if he got the timing right. So the mustang stallion waited until the last second and released his coiled muscles and bolted sideways. The mustang stallion missed the worst of the damage but instead of escaping completely unscathed Corvo's hoof had caught him on the side of his shoulder instead of on his chest because of his dodge. The wound was fairly deep though it was short and it was indeed bleeding quite a bit but nothing the paint could not handle until he disposed of his enemy. The blue roan whirled around and prepared for his attack.

Attack #1

The blue roan stallion moved with a silent grace that intimidated almost all of his opponents whether it had the same effect on Corvo was yet to be seen. As the mustang came around the back side of his opponent he tucked his chin to his neck protecting his own jugular as he reared and lashed out with both hooves at the knee area of the other horse. His intention was to break the knee and he thought he might have herd a crunch but that could have been his hooves landing on the patch of gravel they had been fighting on. Ghosting turned to face his opponent, his shoulder stinging painfully serving as a reminder that he had not come out unscathed.

Defense 1:

Corvo's ears twisted in Ghosting's direction as he approached him. At that moment, Ghosting's name seemed to suit him; he seemed like a ghost as he came up to Corvo. The Unmol could feel the hairs on his back prickling as a bone-chilling shiver crawled up his spine. Corvo's mind raced and his heart pounded loudly, making concentration no easy feat. Corvo suddenly reared up in an attempt to avoid Ghosting's blow. He believed that his timing was just right as he rose higher up into the air (his gut and hearing senses driving him), but was shocked when he felt Ghosting's hoof catch his forearm. As the Unmol Horse began to descend, he could feel Ghosting's blow only become more intense. When Corvo landed, his injured leg almost collapsed underneath his weight, which seemed to be a thousand times heavier. Throbbing began to take over, and the Unmol Horse quickly concluded that he had earned himself a sprain. Corvo winced as he felt his skin tearing open and blood leaking out.

Attack 2:

Corvo found that he still did not have the best angle on Ghosting, and his injured leg was sure to limit his abilities to fight. Corvo did the first thing that leaped into his mind, and he found himself twisting his body and neck while he turned his head towards Ghosting. Corvo lifted his lips away from his teeth, exposing those sharp weapons along with his gleaming gums, coated with saliva. As he reached out, he took his weight off of his bleeding leg to avoid the agonizing pain. He shut his jaws tightly together and pulled back quickly, examining his opponent and hoping he gave Ghosting a painful and humiliating souvenir to take back home.
