The colt moved silently though the territory, is light striped coat shining in the spring light. Prime was out, and it's rays brought all the plants to life. He was happy it was spring, and it also meant he was even nearer to being a year old, if he wasn't already. He moved along by the lake, his mother off somewhere. He loved his mother, and was happy they decided to stay with his father for a few days. Summon wanted to get to know a few of his siblings, and maybe his father, though he seemed a bit rude to Summon. He knew he was dark, and that was what to expect, but it still bothered him a bit. He stopped for a drink, his light colored head, littered with the stripes of his zebra mother gently touching the waters surface as he drank. He finished, raising his head, letting water droplets fall from his mouth. He now turned away from the lake, his feet touching the new green grass. He bent his head down to them, their blades tickling his nose. He snorted, and watched them sway in the slight breeze before he ripped it off with ivory teeth. His black eyes watched around him, wondering if any of his half sibling would be watching him from the shadows of the territory. He mulled over his thought while he chewed. He was a stranger here, so why should they approach him? Sure, he was family, but how far did blood go in this particular family? Did they cherish it? Hold it as wealth? Or did they hate it, killing their own to bring the glory to themselves? He shivered at the thought, hoping they could spare him since he meant them no harm at all. Maybe blood did run thick in this family, but with Omen he just couldn't tell. He sighed silently to himself, mulling over this as he bite off another mouthful of grass.
