Indy walked into the quarry laiden heavily with child. She was already covered in sweat because the contractions had started that morning and it was now late afternoon. Trailing behind her was her son Aatos. He had insisted to come along with her and make sure she was okay, because she was abnormally large in her barrel and he was worried about her. Indy sighed and smiled a little as she thought about her son. A mare could not wish for a better son, he was always so selfless, but as the next contraction came the smile was wiped right off her face. Instincts kicked in and she found her self on her side in a secluded spot in the middle of a deep forest. For hours she pushed when finally she felt a body slip from her own, smiling she got up wearily and started cleaning her foal. A filly! Her own daughter. I will name you Hadriana Indy said lovingly. About a 1/2 an hour later the contractions started up again and Indy was confused. "This should not be happening." She muttered to herself, but she got into a more comfortable position and by the time the second foal slide from her body she was practically dead, but some how she summoned the energy to get up and clean her second foal. Another filly she looked at them both with endearing eyes, wouldnt flashback be so happy, she should have invited him to the quarry with her. "I will name you Rhapsody, my little one." She said gently. But for now she needed sleep and lots of it. Aatos kept gaurd over his 2 youngest sisters as his mother slept. He investigated both of them as they learned to walk and romp on there little legs. |
