The gray mare slowly, rather calmly, strolled about the Quarry, rather odd for a mare who was about to give birth. This was her fourth child, and the gray felt she had nothing to fear, save for a breech birth, which she didn't remember happening to her. Yes, she had known the Phantom briefly, but he was a kind sort of stallion, not like other ones she had briefly met and encountered in her many wanderings. Anziyan's eyes closed for a scarce moment as she turned towards a clearing, a place where she had come before. The mare soon laid down and began her labor. Many hours later, the gray sat up slowly, carefully so as to avoid hitting her foal's body. When she had done so, the gray's almond eyes soon found purchase of her child, who was quite remarkable. The filly was already sitting up, her body nearly free of the translucent birth sac. The white right side of her body was visible, but her dainty head was up, calm for a newborn. The right side of her face wasa a dark bay color, the mare soon found as she began cleaning the foal. Her eyes blue, and body covered in tovero patches of dark bay. When Anziyan got the fily to stand, she found it almost unnatural how easily the filly got up and stood, taking a few shaky step towards her dam. A smile was all that was featured on the mare's demeanor. She was Arabesque in build, with some her sire's muscle, but still slender like her dam. Anziyan thought as to the child's name once she showed her where to nurse. Chimaera. The bay tail of her child flicked greedily against her haunches, and the mare smiled. That would be her name.
