The small buckskin roan mare waddled into the foaling quarry a week or two over due but to her relief the contractions had started that morning. She had arrived in the foaling quarry a few days before and had settled into a routine, in the process of waiting for the contractions to start. Instincts guided her back to the vaguely familiar place that she had given birth to her daughter who had stayed at home with her father. Ariana missed her yearling daughter, but knew she was not old enough yet to understand the birthing process. Lowering herself to her knee's, then sinking on to her side she began pushing with the contractions. 1/2 an hour later Ariana was surprised to feel the foals body slide from her own. It had been a quick birth, though Ariana was not complaining. She staggered to her feet and cleaned off her new son. Excitement swelled in her chest she had given birth to a stunningly handsome cremello colt with bright blue eyes. "I will name you Hermes" she declared.

No.
Alecto Does Not Have A Lisp.
It is just the way he talks. Sort of like a Snake.
