Indy had long been awaiting this foal, nervously. She had wanted a foal true but she had no idea that pregnancy would be like this. It had been hard, from the start the foal had been moving around a lot and made it extremely uncomfortable. She had convinced herself that it was only because it was her first time. The first contraction hit hard and she staggered. A panicked look crept in to her eyes. Looking back at her traveling partner (Golden Sun) she had no idea what to do. Indy staggered again before dropping down in a place that would sufice to give birth. By now she was freaking out, pain was wraking her belly and she was fighting it. She needed to push with the contractions, but she was not she was panicking. Some one needed to help her or something bad could happen very soon.

Golden Sun walked into the quarry with the mare that had asked her to come along. She watched as Indy looked back at her with a panicked expression in her eyes. It's all right Indy. It will all be over soon. She soothed.

Following, she watched her stagger from a contraction. Coming up, she steadied her. When they came to agood place, Indy flopped down. Golden Sun could tell that she was pannicking. She wasn't pushing when she needed to. You need to push with the contractions. Everything will go fine. Don't worry.

She said calmly. She would help as much as she could, but there really wasn't much she could to but encourage the mare.

Indy calmed down enough to listen to what the mare had to say. She decided to listen to the older more experienced mare and pushed with the contractions. It clicked the foal came smoothly and quickly after all her panicking she felt kind of dumb and a little embarrassed. She cleaned off her foal and smiled at Golden Sun. "I am sorry for the panicking I was a little frightened. Thank you for coming with me." She told the mare. Indian Summer watched her son proudly. He had all the handsome draft heritage of his father and was colored a rich bay color. "I will call you Aatos" Indy told her son.

Golden Sun smiled as Indy took her advice. The foal was out in no time. She nodded in acknowledgment as she mare thanked her. She watched as Indian Summer cleaned off her colt and named him. He is lovely. Congradulations. She said, smiling and remembering Athena's birth. Golden Sun had blessed her love with many healthy foals, and now, watching Indy give birth to yet another, it made her long for next season even more strongly when she could have another foal to bring home.
