Seller of Churros

Lavinia struggles to continue to walk amongst the spring grasses that have slowly been burned by the summer heat of the new season. Her pregnant form is heavily swollen and much paste due. The contractions starting to become unbearable to the young mother, forced to her knees to sub come to the pain of labor. Many hours pass as the young paint goes into intense labor, much of which she allows instinct to direct her behavior and response. Sariel had been easy to birth and luckily for Lavinia, so would be her newest child. Once the ordeal was over and the foal free from the womb, and Lavinia felt comfortable and well enough to stand, she pulled her lanky stock frame to her predominately white colored legs and looked over her new daughter with a happy smile. Gently, Lavinia lowered her bi colored head and began to groom Ilse, a lovely sooty bay splash filly with bright blue eyes. A pretty little creature with a terrible secret of being deaf in her white tinted ear, but Ilse seemed to respond to her mother just like any other baby. She nursed and walked and wanted to play constantly. But, if one were to watch Ilse closely, they would notice the little filly did seem to subtly tilt her good ear toward who was speaking or to where a startling noise was coming from, but she would never realize that this was a problem. Nor, would she realize that during this wretchedly hot month of summer, that her pale blue eyes would react painfully to the bright yellows and whites that surrounded her in the sky. It was bright and she felt herself constantly blinking, but she would always believe this was normal. After a few days of nursing and basic survival was taught to Ilse, mother and daughter set off home, to see Cael, Sariel, Echo and Eden. |
