From the 82,000 SAC troops that remain on the Iraq Iran border 20,000 more SAC troops are called up to reinforce troops fighting on the ground. They must make one last push to secure the border from Al Basrah to Baghdad.

1-3 SAC forces decimate the now low supplied IC forces and secure the border of Iraq-Iran with low casualties sustained.
4-6 SAC forces still are in a heated stalemate with IC troops but most think the tide will soon turn in the favor of The SAC. Medium casualties sustained on both sides.
9-10 The SAC line breaks and they now must retreat to where they started with extremely heavy casualties sustained.

- The willingness of European nations to join this Holy War against Islamic Extremism has spread to Scandinavian countries, especially Sweden, which recently had a populist revolution, overthrowing the Royal Family of Sweden, imprisoning them and establishing a new Government. Sweden initiates negotiations to join the AESS.

Posted Image

- The Swedish Army, numbering only 50.000 Active and 30.000 Reserve Forces (80.000 men) aim to increase their armed forces to 150.000 men. All 30.000 Reserves are called up and 20.000 Swedish soldiers await deployment.

- A series of fortifications are set up along the Libyan - Egyptian border, all the way to Benghazi. This new fortification system makes extensive use of booby traps, scorched earth, bunkers, AA, AAA, AT and ASM emplacements, as well as a maze of underground networks, designed to trap enemy soldiers 100 meters beneath the earth and when explosives rigged at the exits of each tunnel go off, a smoke thrown to each of the tunnels' ventilation systems, choking the enemy soldiers and thus killing them easily.

- The fortification system in the Libyan - Egyptian border are now complete, apart from the bunkers, which will take aproximately one month to complete. However, should an attack occur in such a period of time, the bunkers will be left as they are.

- 20.000 Swedish soldiers are dispatched to the Moroccan front, after they have been issued and acquainted with the FN F2000 assault rifle.

With the unknown amount of troops in Iraq and Saudi Arabia SAC forces ask for any Assistance from any country to deploy any troops they can spare to help with the now extremely dangerous IC troops.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Venezuela agrees to join The SAC and agrees to enter the now raging conflict. This now will boost the 2,000,000 SAC troops to almost 3,000,000.

Venezuela = mine

With Venezuela's newly acquired modern Russian equipment the SAC's ability to wage war will be greatly improved.
-----------------------------------------------------------

The 500,000 SAC troops in Mauritania set up defensive positions along the Western Sahara Border. Mauritania troops mobilize and and will act as supporting troops to SAC forces.

- Populism spreads quickly in Scandinavia. Following Sweden's example, Norway has gotten rid of her Royal Family and a new Government has been put in place. Norway immediately begins to initiate negotiations with the AESS.

- With a small military of 50.000 Troops total, Norway aims to double her military to 100.000 men. 10.000 Norwegian troops await deployment overseas and all reserves are called up.

Posted Image

- Prime Minister Dimitrios Grapsas organises an emergency meeting for all AESS nations, so as to counter the NAU threat for intervention should populism spread after the Holy War has ended. The meeting will take place in Zurich, Switzerland in 5 months. (months = pages)
